And the moral of this thread: Don't ever be fooled by the media padwork I still firmly believe that Froch would've stopped Groves in the last rounds, but before that Groves was dominating the Cobra
Was Groves head not hanging between his legs when the fight got stopped? Looked that way to me,premature stoppage or not he was out on his feet and not throwing back.
Well, problem is a lot of comments on here seem to be by men who don't know what they are watching. Groves is definitely doing a lighter session, no doubt, but he is hitting the pads as his trainer shows them. He seems to be working on keeping his shots long and feeling the movement. Froch is certainly throwing harder shots but they are short and a lot of the 'wow factor' (noise) is produced by Rob slapping the pads against Froch punches. This style is more common.
Bro he wasn't even close to being 'out on his feet', his hands were up and he threw a punch about 2 seconds before Foster stopped it
Lol @ these froch fanboys trying to justify the stoppage. It was a ****in robbery every man and his dog knows that Froch has clearly brainwashed you simple ****s Groves whooped froch
Groves was throwing back as much as he needed to but there's no point waving your arms about unless yoou have a tool of a ref who is about to jump in at the first bit of success a fighter has against you. If Groves knew what Foster had in mind I'm sure he would've been more proactive in that particular instance; if every fight was stopped like that the sport would be in a right state. As for somebody saying Groves's head was hanging between his legs, hahaha f*ck me
I think you need new glasses mate. Groves was clearly sagging and falling forward with his head down when the ref stopped it. Or did that never happen?
