No. 1? He's already 36. He deserves a near top 10 shout now, or just edged in for his consistent 2013 year of dominating performances. He's a very good fighter and no joke at all. The only real question is his chin. His speed, skills, timing, power and other facets are all excellent.

I see him at least making a mark on LHW history in some form.

When I noticed the spelling of the screenname and join date, I knew this would be a funny thread.

The threads are getting absurd......................it's way too soon to claim a future p4p and I do not believe in p4p anyway..........

Stevenson is the best boxer now there is no contest, he improved so much, his power is just out of this World. I dont think anyone can beat him and that includes Kovalev.

Given that he's older than Ward, he'd have to beat him at some point for that to happen. And there's about a 90% chance Golovkin loses that one.

    So yeah, not gonna happen.

Stevenson is old and will not land anywhere near the top spot.

Actually possible if he was to win the right fights. If he was to beat Kovalev and Ward you could make a very real case for him being number 1 especially when Floyd is gone. Being 36 though i doubt it also don't think he beats either Ward or Kovalev but if he did he'd be number 2 behind Floyd.

Of course he is. That's the blueprint. All 35 year olds with only a handful of world class wins under his belt become p4p #1.
