whatever happened to the really good boxing entrances?

I thought Cotto coming to the ring with no music in his last fight was good. All business.

 

50 cent rapping into the ring on ropes was a low point allright.

But everything looks better in hindsight. I think most ring-walks are going to be at least somewhat cheesy.

 

Sharif Bogere's entrances are always good that lion costume in the cage is sick.

 

Katsidis always was good

 

Vitali Klitschko was my favorite, Vlad does OK............

German ones are alwaya great. The best one recently was Sturm v Barker. The coal mining **** (iirc) was a bit odd though.

 

Actually got goosebumps. **** was awesome

yeah the germans do put on good shows
in sturm's case however, its all about 'preserving the myth'
they call him 'mister boxing' over there, which is pretty embarrassing considering their '3 time world champion' has never faced a top MW
