    :good

2 for 2 so far. DiBella and the co-promoters/matchmakers have done very well and raised the bar high for ShoBox with a great 2014 season premiere.

    Round 3

Douglas is jumping in and out, barking and dusting the upper part of Davis' guard. Uppercut by Douglas inside. Davis throws some left and right hooks up close, mostly skidding off Douglas' biceps. Douglas is hopping side to side and then dashing in with the jab up high on the head of Davis. Hooks around the back of the elbows by Davis, who leans forward and wrestles Douglas to keep him still.

    10-9 Douglas

    30-27 Douglas

Douglas is strafing, bending his insoles to let his weight sag in either direction as he shifts around Davis. In and out with the jab, Douglas barking the whole time. Davis is leaning forward, arms planked back across his face, surviving and occasionally sneaking in a straight or looping body counter.

    Round 5

Douglas is moving in, leading with left wrecking balls downstairs and right uppercuts, moving his head to slip the short jab of Davis. Douglas moves backward and springs a 1-2 on Davis, blocked, and follows with a slapping left hook while stepping wide and turning him. Davis keeps pressing in but not punching. Davis smothers Douglas into the ropes. Break by the ref. Douglas pops the jab and steps left, rocking and shifting his weight. Sneaky body shot by Davis, moving in quickly and then sidestepping diagonally out. Clinch. Davis is caught with a jab and squeezes his arms together as Douglas crowds in with a combo, but fails to keep out the fast right hand and next jab that Douglas flicks in.

    10-9 Douglas

    50-45 Douglas

Douglas clearly dominating, Davis doesn't seem to have much, Douglas should pick his shots better.
