pascal/bute/froch

TBH he finished Bute, Pascal went onto have some world class wins on his slate after he lost to Froch.

Both were world class fighters in there prime which i believe both are out of now. I've never liked Bute but i have over the years admired his sublime skills (counter uppercut to head and body and sneaky left hand) but the man who entered the ring smiling in Nottingham was long gone last night.

Pascal's on the decline now also, But still enough to trouble and beat some top 10 LHW's outside the main three. Would like to see him vs Shumenov..

 

Who was the bigger hype job, Bute or Lacy, I think Lacy.

People also consider Taylor, Abraham and Glen Johnson as huge wins. Quite ridiculous actually. He has a decent resume, especially when you consider how limited he is, but people thinking he is one of the greatest british fighter ever etc are deluded.

 

Exactly, Johnson and Taylor were both well past it and Abraham was himself. Let's be honest Abraham was a erratic at the best of times. He didn't beat Johnson or Taylor too impressively either.

 

Yep. His resume is overrated when you really look at it.

 

Bute was a complete different fighter before FROCH RUINED HIM..
Last night Bute looked **** and a man that probably wont fight again, to try and smash holes in froch's resume is silly, he went in as a big under dog and beat the **** out of him, something Pascal failed to do! smell the coffee you ****ing gimp!!!!!!!!!!!

 

. Overated fought everyone in his division and got beat by the the goat. of the SM who would probably clear the LH.. Come on have a think..

 

Na Pascal i feel was actually a quality win don't like Froch but i mean Pascal won being past his best last night, after Froch he went on and beat Dawson and IMO beat BHOP the 1st time although it was a very close fight. Bute is perhaps similar to Lacy both were very overhyped but at the same time as Calzaghe did to Lacy Froch destroyed Bute so badly he has never been the same so you can't deny it was a good win. Johnson GTFO he was miles past it a good win maybe 5 years before Carl fought him. Abraham again had his best days at MW and honestly i never rated him as high as many good oporator but not a true elite fighter. Taylor again past it look what Abraham did to him after. Kessler 2 Mikkell was well past it imo still a decent fighter but not the same man that beat Froch or fought Calzaghe, oh and he lost to Direll got outboxed was lucky to get that win. Froch has a very solid and respectable resume and career but a Ledgend he ain't.
