    Give me a break. That's bull****. Anyone who thinks Calzaghe has more experience than Hopkins should just be banned for life from this and any forum for stupidity.

    Blocky, nice revisionist history, nobody gave a **** about Calzaghe before Lacy because everyone hated the guy.

    They still loved Hatton, hell they even loved **** fighters like Williams.. it wasn't until Calzaghe won the IBF they payed attention, pretty much because they had too.

    Calzaghe had no real title fight until Lacy...all he had was him hiding in Europe defending a bull**** WBO belt.

    I have heard what Joe said concerning Hopkins being a bit of an idiot really and this comment was passed (many times) directly after an interviewer asking him about the 'i'll never get beat by a white boy' comment.
    So to say Joe has just called him an idiot as you misled there is not right.

    It's true, the WBO belt ain't ****, he didn't step up to fight for a real title until 2006.

    Imagine if Joe would of made that leap back in 99.. what could have been... but Joe fans won't even go there.

    Calzaghe has been a very arrogant person IMO. I don't know if he really believes he's that much better than Hopkins or if he's just lost a sense of reality.
