Just curious! Groves gave froch a serious fight, with Kessler being a better boxer I think it would be a good match up! What do you think? And who wins?

If Groves can not fight Froch that would be a good road for StGeorge to take. You never know would the IBF take Froch belt off him?

David Hayes said after froch fight ,groves beat the hell out of Kessler in sparring so won't happen, a prime Kessler maybe , be competitive

I'd expect Groves to win on points at this stage but at his peak Kessler would have been too good.

    Won't happen

Kessler knows he won't get a huge gift like froch did

Groves whoops Kessler and Kessler knows it

Kessler wins by KO between rds 4-8.

People are over-rating Groves based on his Froch performance, there's no doubt it was an early stoppage but it's clear that Groves was in trouble too.

I'd like to see Groves - Bika, I think that would be an entertaining fight. If Groves took the WBC regular belt, it would also make his subsequent bouts larger affairs.

I honestly think prime Kessler stops groves in 9 but right now groves stops Kessler on cuts or wins a wide UD! Fight won't happen but I'd love to see it either way! Groves does appear a tad chinny and Kessler has respectable power and better accuracy than froch.

Depends what Kessler has left. Prime Kessler stops Groves in a good contest. Now though Groves has a good chance. Kessler has lost his reflexes so gotta fancy Groves.

groves would win this one. he's too young, hungry and busy. it would be an excellent fight for groves though. he'd be further making his case for a rematch for froch, beating one of the best smw fighters ever and moving up the rankings. it also has a serious crossroads feel to it. this fight should happen.

I remember hearing Groves gave Kessler nightmares in sparring.

I think Groves would stop him at this stage.

If Froch runs from the rematch which is looking likely, Groves being able to stop Kessler - something Froch couldn't do - wouldn't look to shabby, it would probably also wind the Cobra up too... even better!
