Most likely scenario is that Froch fights Chavez in Vegas and then fights Groves. I hope he knows what he's doing.

The Chavez fight is completely and utterly pointless...

His bottle has gone. Simple as that.

Carl is right in what he's saying (he fought him and beat him) but I'd find it tough to see Carl lasting past 4 rounds with George if they ever met again. Mentally, Froch is done. And he might just be done physically as well!

The money fight is clearly Groves... it would smash all time British records... it would quite simply be the largest grossing Brit fight of all time.... to suggest Chavez Jr is the money is total bull, he has no credit out there to be PPV after a dodgy decision against Vera and all the drugs stuff. If it sold 50,000 it would have done well. Nobody over here is paying to watch it at 4am... hell we would not pay if it was beamed at 10pm on a Saturday night.

Now I am sure Hearns wants the rematch as that is where he will earn mustard.

So maybe, just maybe the stumbling block is Groves wanting 50/50 split, if you listen closely to Frock he mentions the figures are not adding up with Groves... now certainly in total grossing they smash all else, so they can only not be adding up as Groves is wanting a fairer share.

Groves has an appeal with the IBF to order a rematch which is futile, will never wash, so maybe they are hanging on to that as a bargaining tool, but once that is done and failed, maybe they will sit down and accept less and make it happen.

Or maybe Frock is just the big wide open ***** he clearly appears to be and will ruin his legacy forever. Nobody will ever let him forget it if it does not happen. It will haunt him and 10 generations of his polish bloodlines.

If they try to palm off with Chavez on PPV that's a joke.

Been saying it on here many times he wants Chavez jr.

Any posters thinking he would agree to 50-50 split with Groves no chance the business doesn't work like that.

The bigger money fight overall would be GG.

Chavez jr good money & lesser resistance they will if made try & palm it off on PPV.

a funny scenario is that froch pies groves for the chavez fight and loses, then comes back and offers groves it again, george says **** you and fights chavez and beats him. sticking his middle finger up.

i dont blame froch for wanting the big vegas fight night! can you?
after all hes the champ (controvertial stoppage or not),hes well within his rights to call the shots!
ideally id like to see him fight in vegas,win.. then fight groves and knock the moaning little twat out then retire.
p.s ive followed groves since the bigining and been to most of his fights but he just needs to stop moaning, his time will come.

This. He has maybe two fights left.

I would like to see the Groves rematch afterwards though

If I was Groves I'd go after the Chavez fight just to make a point.

    LISTEN

Groves has already said ''i wont wait around for Carl Froch''. He has already said that he will take a fight first, as a Froch rematch will have to be late in the summer anyway. He is sure the fight will happen

Froch said on ringside that his 2 fights this year should be Groves and Chavez ''but not in that order''. So Chavez, then Groves

Eddie Hearn has said he is also sure the fight will happen, and as a stadium fight it will have to take place in the late summer

The fight is obviously gonna happen, and they are all saying the same thing. The problem is the £££, and Groves demands. If he wants to fight Froch so much he should take the lesser split, until then stfu

The fight will happen, and Froch will win again :deal

Mentally Groves has done a number on Froch.
Froch "won" the fight but Groves was the winner.

Who really, in the UK or US is dying to see Froch v Chavez jnr?
He wont fight Groves again, ever. No chance!
