I'm sure the fight will get made and this is now just George haggling, Froch has no where else to go and this is the biggest fight for him anyway, moneywise. Hearn probably came in with a lowball offer and George is rightly trying to maximise his purse.

Lol.. Froch '...but also the demand in the US for the Chavez fight.'

This guy comes out with some cracking lines... Demand in the US for Chavez-Froch? what planet is this guy living on. on a scale of 1 to 10 the demand for a chavez fight in the US is about a 2.

because the demand for him to fight groves is outweighed so much by the "demand" that he fight some spoiled brat who hasn't done **** in his whole career its laughable to mention the two in the same sentence

Unless anything is on Sky News or BBC I don't believe it, lots of smaller websites go on rumors. Like a couple of months ago some sites said Mayweather Khan was already signed.

HBO gave Eddie Hearn a list of names for Froch to fight on their network.
Ward,Kessler,Chavez Jr and Golovkin's names were on the list.

you're right. can't argue. i just think its b.s. to say that there is "demand" for a fight when there isn't its so transparent what he's doing. jr's fans will go see him fight anyone which is a bit different then saying there is a demand for a fight. there is a demand for jr to fight vera again. there is a demand for froch to fight groves again.

    and I agree
but if everything was so transparent in boxing, we wouldn't see serial paper champions making bucket loads of money fighting away from the spotlight and never fighting anybody, while defending a strap nobody cares about

the fact that casual fans are easily manipulated is exactly why junior is so marketable, and fighters like felix sturm are revered in their home country even though they have never fought anybody their entire career

    IBF have ordered immediate rematch

so Groves is back as mandatory for the IBF title... so Frock fights or vacates.
