IBF ruling on the ref, not just the stoppage but not deducting earlier points off Frock the big beak which always goes untalked about, a total victory for boxing.

And a huge two fingers at the British board of control who said howard foster done a good job.

What a brillent day for the fans and for the boxing system. Fair play to the IBF they are the least corrupt body. Now lets see if Froch the "international superstar warrior" has the balls to give Groves the rematch no excuses now Groves has clearly stated his financial demands as stipulated by the IBF. The lies that have been spouted by Froch and Eddie have been unreal, "theres big demand for a Chavez fight" Froch " my fans want me to fight in Vegas" Groves turned down 1m ect ect all done to try get out of the fight now they are ****ed make it happen or its as clear as day Froch is ducking.

What a day - literally 2 hours before this was announced everyone was calling Groves an idiot for not taking the fight!

Although, i heard the call on IFL with Eddie Hearn, and have to say 75/25 is not the worst deal in the world - but now the rematch has been ordered there will be no options gives the possibility of a reverse 75/25 for a rubber match!

I still actually fancy groves to put Froch away (as i did the first fight) - but really wouldn't surpass me if Froch survives to put Groves away late! (but properly this time)

Finally the IBF does something for the fans. Will Froch give up the IBF title rather than fight Groves? The IBF pretty much saying because of the ignorant referee...................I want to see this fight..........

Everyone trying to blame Eddie H for this and that as per usual!!

NOT one person on this thread has seen the offer GG received from Matchroom for the first fight, nor have they seen the re match offer. In all honesty you will never see the figures and are purely guessing!!

Call Eddie what ever you want but a couple of things to consider. Matchroom have some good and some not so good fighters on their books. Froch has been one of if not the best in recent times (By best i mean commercially & in winning championships) but he is close to retirement. Maybe he has 2 more fights but another year or so and he will be done.

George Groves is a future world champion, has an okay following so far and has been part of the best UK build up and fight for many years. He is seen by many as the future of the division and every promotor including Matchroom want to sign him.

Whatever happens between GG & Froch, Eddie Hearn & Matchroom will make money out of it. Matchroom will work on margins and these margins will be pre determined for every show they do, some they lose on others they win on, but I bet we would be gobsmacked to see the overall profits & figures from the shows.

Take into Account the two main fighters will take a large percentage of any gates & PPV. Then they have to build a really stacked and strong undercard to support the fight, pay for marketing and promotion, pay for a large venue, extra security and finally a nice big bill from the Police. There is no way this fight happens with 60-80,000 people without a very large police presence which the promotor will be paying for!!

IF anyone thinks it is not in Matchroom's interest to try look after GG as well as CF you are stupid, very very stupid. He is the future of the division in the immediate future and Matchroom want the best fighters around them. EH and Carl are clearly mates but this is business, big big business and friendship won't come into it when there are wages and bills to be paid.

man what Bert Gilroy could have done with a manager like Groves!

was it management success or was it because things are much more transparent now?

Eddie hearn knows he needs a premier fighter as froch is his cash cow at the moment but will retire soon. He doesn't want to **** of groves if he wants to sign him I wonder if the offer conditions were if he wins he gives rematch to froch and any mandatory fights which in affect ties groves to him for 2-3 fights.

Hearn will be looking beyond Froch, he knows he only has a couple of fights left and will be planning his next money making venture at 168 once Froch is out the picture.
