Imagine if Froch dominated and stopped Groves within 5 rounds

The thing is with their styles which is intriguing is if Froch is aggressive early he will get caught like the first fight, Groves started tiring so Froch got aggressive so your post is abit shxt

 

No way is Froch beating Groves in the rematch unless it's a stupid decision on points.

 

Imagine if he knocked him down at the start of the round.

 

We will never know if Groves chin would have stood up to Froch's punches because the fight was stopped to early, it would have been a very interesting & entertaining to see how that fight would have ended.


The rematch should hopefully answer everyone's questions

 

I guess in assessing the fight it would be an idea to see how the scores were when the fight was stopped.

I thought they were a disgrace tbh having only the kd splitting them was madness.

 

And imagine if Carl suddenly developed the defence of Floyd Mayweather, the power of Julian Jackson, the reflexes of Roy Jones, the ring craft of Sugar Ray Leonard......

 

Groves will win this fight before they even enter the arena. The amount of ridicule he'd give Carl in the build up, Carl's precious over-inflated ego would DEFINATELY not be able to cope with it.

Groves will win this one Carl has already said the motivation isn't there for this rematch which means he won't apply himself as hard in training and we could well see George knock him out if he lands a bomb like the last fight, People talk about George having a glass jaw who was the 1 on his arse and who finished the fight on his feet.

 

Well, at least the IBF has done something for the fans. Justice is what I call it. Froch is afraid of Groves. Will Froch drop the title first?

 

Froch will approach this fight exactly the same as the first one, i doubt Groves will. As someone said before Groves was never hurt in the ninth, tired yes, hurt no. There's a big difference. I see Groves still throwing a few meaty punches in the first half of the fight but no were near as many as the first fight. Froch has never been a one punch ko kind of fighter, throws a lot of wild arm punches. Reminds me a bit of Foreman, only Froch won't be fighting a big slow heavyweight. I think Groves will win the early to mid rounds with Froch rallying late on, and if Groves has fought the type of fight i think he will he should still have the stamina to keep him off. Groves will take it on the cards

 

Froch won't just jump on Groves imo. If you look at the last fight, every time he was getting aggressive, he was getting hurt. I think we will see a more disciplined Froch performance. I think the fact that Groves took the center of the ring surprised him.

 

So why didn't Groves stop him last time ?
He hit Froch with the kitchen sink and all he suceeded in doing was blowing himself out.
I'm not sure Groves has the engine to press Froch for 12 rounds, he can certainly outbox him, but i don't believe he has the discipline to be passive the whole fight.
Somebody who spends 2 months crying and whinging to anybody that will listen, and is then arranging to meet twitter trolls in the street, strikes me as somebody who is mentally very immature and fragile.
Froch talks like a **** at times, and deservedly gets stick for it, Groves seems immune to criticism for some reason, when he talks just as much ****.

 

Immature? Everything was against him, no trainer, other promoters show and all the fans were against him. He went in an completely outclassed the over hyped Froch and then the referee made an appalling decision. Before any Froch fan boys says anything, it has been proven it was a disgusting decision as the IBF have ordered a rematch and usually the organisations don't do this. It's a different org but Paquaio didn't even get anything after that joke of a decision v Bradley. So yeah I think he should be annoyed and him moaning has kept it a hot topic and had made Hearn offer him the rematch, even before the IBF ruled a rematch. With regards to him going after a Troll maybe that was a bit out of order but I can certainly see why he has done it. Boxing isn't like football so obviously has a smaller community and when you have a fat troll making the worst of threats to his partner, I can see why he has reacted this way. It's ok to have a bit of banter and that, but when trolls are targets family members etc. Something has to be done.

I agree Groves seems immune, poeple forget he made some mistakes in the froch fight. I think deep down he wants to beat froch in a war rather then a boxing match and I don't think he has the engine or the chin to do it
