What a damn strange fight. Truly unique. What on earth happened inside that ring?

The way I saw it Spilzka was outclassing Jennings in rounds 3-5 and I found myself asking myself the question "What on earth is he thinking", it looked to me at that time as if Spilzka could have just taken the decision to bang Jennings out of there or taken the decision to just box Jennings ears off and cruise to a decision. Did Spilzka deliberately let his opponent back into the fight to provide a show for his fans? Is Spilzka's stamina ****? Did Spilzka do something stupid like enter this fight with the flue in his system or a bruised up wrist or something of the sort? Obviously all that flying probably didn't help Spilzka any but I don't think that flying alone can explain all the strangeness that we witnessed today.

Anyway then Jennings scores the knockdown and after he does that the fight becomes a fight again with Jennings outperforming Spzilka at times and Spzilka outhustling Jennings at times.

And then we get the final round and Spzilka starts it off by outclassing the crap out of Jennings and ends it by looking too close to being Koed for the referee to allow the fight to continue.

Regardless of this Ko loss I'm not sure that I would pick Jennings to win a rematch between the two, would have to give that some more thought.

Very impressive performance by Bryant Jennings, I could see he's improved since last year.

What won the fight for him was his ring intelligence and excellent timing. He seemed to be able to anticipate what Szpilka was going to do.

Jennings is definitely one of the top ten heavyweights in the world right now.

Szpilka is a decent fighter, at age 24 he still may have a good future despite the loss.

jesus you have a skewed view of the fight. Jennings was walking Szpilka down while making him miss the whole time. and destroying his body. at no real stretch was Szpilka outclassing Jennings.

I watched the whole fight and I dont know if your post is a windup or nut, Jennings outboxed him the whole fight pretty much, as far as a rematch goes there is no need as it was one sided and achieves nothing, we have seen the Spzilka can be hurt in the past by Mollo and I think that is in and around his level

Jennings would beat szpilka again, he's just bigger and stronger than szpilka, but anyway I don't see anything special in him.

Szpilka is mentally weak. He sucks. Jennings isn't that good.

I came into this fight totally unbiased and wished both a good fight as I liked both fighters. Anyways I only scored maybe 1 or 2 rounds for Szpilka (the 1st and maybe 4th I think it was). A very slow start to the match but Jennings was the more skilled boxer, had great defense all night against Szpilka's punches and it appears Szpilka just didn't know what to do with him. I think Jennings struggled a little with Szpilka being a southpaw as he should of thrown more jabs and more combinations but Jennings did a good job with the knock downs and closing the deal very close to the end of the fight.

The fight went about how I expected.

Szpilka's got a conditioning issue, big time. Whether it was lack of preparation or the visa issues, it was there. His punches had no snap by the midway point and he was much easier to catch. I thought the 5th was the last round he had anything in, and the fight was contested up to that point although Jennings would do just a little more.

Once round 6 hit, it was one-way traffic. I don't see Szpilka troubling top 20 guys unless there's significant improvement (maybe he catches some flukish glass himself and pulls off an upset).

Jennings, I wasn't terribly impressed by. But, there are more positives there for him. He's improving and has the work ethic to keep getting better. He won't be championship material, but he could work himself into being a respectable contender with another few fights' progress.

Jenning's doesnt look amazing but what he does works in the ring, he made Szpilka stop punching and kept catching him was a impressive performance

Jennings outworked splikza, had decent stamina, plus good punch selection. He earned that win plus the stoppage
