Charlo can take a punch watch out world the twins are the next world champions.

 

Bothered, fine. Rocked is a bit extreme. Rosado was never a shot away from dropping him.

Trout and Andrade could be doable for Charlo down the line, yes, but there is no reason to rush him that fast that soon.

As for his brother, when did I say Jermall ought to be stepping up to a Molina already? You're putting words in my mouth. I think that's a bit of a bold move, actually. He is being fast-tracked a bit and is a little behind Jermell in his development and specifically in his progress stepping up in overall competition, although knocking out Antwone Smith last year constituted the biggest single achievement by either brother until Jermell's clinic on Rosado last night.

This result is another blow to Peter Quillins' credibility.
Apart from big size and explosive power he really is looking more and more "ordinary".

 

Quillen seems to shrink as the rounds go by.
by the 7th round he looks like Smoke Gainer.

jleon had a solid amatuer career and quillen is trained by roach and managed by gbp both of whom generally dont waste time with unproven talent...especially freddie roach

also, rosado was competitve with both middleweights fighting out of his natural weight class of 154.

gabe is a very good fighter who just fought someone who was that much better.

 

Charlo was never rocked. He looked to be froze up by some body shots late in the fight but he was never in trouble. I thought he looked real good.

 

even though i've never rated Rosado, i thought Charlo did a good job on him. he's quite relaxed out there, knows his way around a ring, and actually lets his shots go. i liked what i saw. he's someone to lookout for in the next 18 months.

i agree with IB. he doesn't need to be rushed or anything stupid. although i don't think they need to hold him back for too long considering he put up a better performance than did Quillin. and that was at 160. but yeah, another few fights like that, then let him off the leash on the genuine contenders.

there's no one out there that he should be worrying about other than say, Lara. he'd be a live dog against the rest of them.

 

I told you busters a year ago that them Charlo boys would be here this year and wreaking harvoc at 154. Everybody at 154 now is being put on notice and that includes Mayweather.
