This is a decent fight, Scott is a level above everyone Wilder has beat and was beating Chisora handily before the dodgy stoppage, the only problem is if Chisora can drop Scott then Wilder definitely can.

Also the poll is reflecting the true level of respect posters have for Wilder power, 75% are picking Wilder by KO :smoke

The 100% KO march must continue :boxer

I'd love to say Scott outboxes him with ease, but seeing as he got caught and dropped by a clumsy Chisora, I'm not too confident that he'd get up and recover IF Wilder lands.

I don't see that match happening. Malik would be too much. Wilder is not used to fight live bodies. My prediction is that this fight is never happening because it would be too much of step up for Wilder.

If it happens then it is going to end up in a brutal KO. Either Malik is going to slip a jab and KTFO Wilder with it or Wilder is going to land sooner or later and kill Scott. Malik is far superior boxer but he is lacking any killer instinct. I am sure he can pull it off but that should happen in round 1 or 2, if not Wilder start swinging and lands a haymaker.

Thing is Malik throws sone wild punches so if he lands one it could have the same affect as if Wilder landed one him, so basically whoever lands first could win

Id have to say Wilder will probably land first because hes so much bigger but wouldnt be suprised if Malik countered him and Wilder got stopped with one punch

I'm no Wilder fan or Scott hater, but Scott looks better than he is, and Wilder is better than he looks. The fact is, Scott is an awkward fighter who fights in a negative, hard to score manner. Glazkov fight was scored about right, they were about even on punches landed and Glazkov was the aggressor. Then, most people (I was among them) were giving most rounds to Scott in the Chisora fight before the ko, but upon closer inspection Chisora was roughing Scott up. Chisora solidly outlanded him, and it was clear towards the end Scott didn't want anything to do with the fight anymore. Only Scott fans or Chisora haters were protesting the result, even Scott understood he lost the fight. Meanwhile, people thought Price, Harrison (including me on that one, I bought into the Harrison kd'd Wilder in sparring hype) and White Wolf would all ko Wilder, but he's looked dominant. I'm convinced at this point he's a legit top 15 guy. When he fights someone like Arreola, I'll pick against him because of the questions of his chin and boxing. Until then, his power should more than compensate against lesser opposition, especially someone who's shown little power and a vulnerability to hard punches like Scott.

I hope this fight happens although I'd rather it not be between friends for reasons people have mentioned already. I'm not like most in this thread that are so one side or the other when it comes to Wilder. I'm keeping an open mind as obviously he hasn't been put to the test so nobody really knows how he'll do either way. If Wilder is able to win this he really does need to step it up even more and fight someone in the top 10. From what I've seen Malik does have boxing skills so I think it would be a decent test for Wilder and I think it would definitely hurt more for Wilder if he losses since he's been so hyped up.

Nobody on here really knows how Wilder's chin will hold up yet, the David Haye sparing video is so overblown it's silly. I watched the Haye video (didn't hear about the Harrison one) and I'd say you'd make a better point saying he has a good chin after watching that because he took a clean shot from Haye and stayed up, didn't go down unless I haven't seen all the footage from that exchange. Like I mentioned in another thread that was also a Haye promotional video where they took the best parts to make Haye look good, even Haye admitted that and said Wilder had some good shots as well that they didn't use for obvious reasons. I just think it's all pure speculation until we see it in an actual fight.

I don't believe Malik Scott, is the fighter that will answer the questions concerning Wilder. The biggest questions to me are Wilder's chin, his stamina, and how he will react when pressed, or when someone fights back. I believe Wilder will defeat Malik Scott, by knockout.

I see improvement in Wilders last 2 fights. But he is still a work in progress. He still tends to loop his shots at times. He leaves that chin sticking up, instead of keeping it down or protecting it behind a shoulder. He can get wild, leaving him open to a good counterpuncher. Not much of a body puncher.

But Wilder's big, and got that long reach. He fights tall, and can keep his opponent at the end of his jab. His jab is fast and powerful. He's still not filled out all the way, and I believe he can add a good 10 lbs. of muscle. He is powerfully built in his upper body/back, with wide punchers shoulders. He has fast hands, and that right coming behind a jab appears lethal.

A fighter with some power, who can slip inside Wilders looping shots and counterpunch him, will give Wilder pause from just recklessly winging shots. A fighter with a long reach and fast/powerful jab, will be able to dictate tempo of the fight. Nobody is hitting Wilder to the body yet can he take it downstairs?. Does he have the skills to land his big bombs on fighters of note?

The biggest question is that chin. Historically fighters of this size and build, haven't had the greatest ability to take punishment. As Wilder had such a short amateur career, he never really had time to get used to getting hit. I see alot of Breland in Wilder, thats good and bad.

Bryant Jennings, impresses me more at this time, but Wilder may have the bigger upside eventually, if he continues to develop. Wilder, if he defeats Scott, needs to continue working overtime in the gym, working on his skills and developing more strength. His manager still needs to match him carefully until his skills are better developed, and he builds strength. Adamek, would be a good next step. An Arreola or Stiverne may be the fighters who finally answer the questions. But if he can't beat a Malik Scott then forget it.

Fury said he will be fighting Wilder after his next 3 fights..............Fury by knockout.

Vlad beat Wilder from one side of the ring to another, knocked Wilder down with a jab. Vlad punches much harder than Wilder, better boxer, better everything.............Watch Haye spar with Wilder, Wilder looked drunk while Haye ran over him.............. Will Scott make more money if he loses to Wilder? Would not surprise me................Scott getting knocked out by Chisora appears to be the reason that that might happen. Wilder refused to fight Chisora and Thompson........Wilder is not 6 feet 8 by the way.............

Another overhyped fighter served on a silver plate to the fake #3 We Be Crooks ranker.

Bryant Jennings called out Wilder in the 2013; why Wilder stayed silent?

It was even Wilder calling out Jennings and insulting him, and then he became silent as soon as Jenning's team replied back with "send a contract".

Why not facing Arreola, higher in the WBC ranking? Or Stiverne? Or the number 4, or 5? Too dangerous, too chinny?

Malik Scott got hurt every time Chisora (rarely) landed a decent blow.
    And he quit.
That will probably make Wilder number 1 WBC and belt holder without having faced anyone... it wouldn't be surprising.

well seeing as wilder clearly ducked chisora and fury, then you would hope after that he could at least beat someone hes handpicked

scott may be the best hes ever faced, but for someone whos knocking on championship level, this shouldnt be the first decent opponent he fights

everyone knows this win gets him a title shot and he 100% does not deserve that

Fury boxed the ears off Malik Scott in sparring to the point where Scott was no longer able to continue.

Fury is 3 fights away from fighting Wlad and thats when Wlad is going to dump his belts to go fighting children in Rio.
