This guy is golden for making stupid comments, the only university that would let this guy teach is U of Stupid. Yes, if you had actually watched the fight, you would realize Arreola not only has a chance, but it should be considered a 50/50 fight. Arreola was handily winning the fight when he got caught with the punch that kd'd him and broke his nose. He wasn't able to breath properly after that and it showed in his performance, he wasn't the same. Meanwhile, resume wise, Arreola has beaten of bunch more high quality people than Stiverne, only a couple top 20 type guys, but more than a dozen top 50ish HW's. Stiverne's resume consists of Arreola and a faded Ray Austin. Stiverne won the first match, so he deserves to be the slight favorite, but stupid people are seeming to forget that rematches often don't happen the same way as the original match. A lot of times the loser of the 1st wins the 2nd, and this is about as good a bet for that as any. Personally, I'll be surprised if Arreola doesn't win the rematch.

Arreola was winning the fight until his nose was broken and he could not breathe, can happen to anyone. Also, Arreola had Stiverne in trouble later in the fight, I think it was the 8th round, but he did not have the breath to finish Stiverne off. I think Arreola will knock Stiverne out.............

put down the pipe farmy if you think arreola has a chance in the rematch. Stiverne had and injured shoulder in the match and could barely through his right hand yet unlike Vitali he didn't botch out and quit on his stool he won the fight fighting all 12 rounds

This is a pointless rematch. Stiverne showed in the first fight he's a level above Arreola.

Some deluded people say it was down to his broken nose and that's why his work rate dropped. But that's bull****. The knock down which broke his nose came at the end of the 3rd round. Arreola had only thrown 19 punches up to that point of the 3rd round, the commentator says so just before he gets dropped. Arreola's work rate dropped because Stiverne figured him out the fact Arreola's work rate dropped prior to the knock down proves that.

Some say it was down to Arreola showing up in poor shape. But ignore that fact that Stiverne came in at about 10lbs heavier than usual. Yes people Arreola got the crap beat out of him by a fat, overweight Stiverne.

Arreola's only hope of winning a rematch is if Stiverne's weight has ballooned during his inactivity, because just like Arreola, Stiverne is a fighter who is undisciplined and who's weight has fluctuated throughout his career.

If Stiverne shows up in similar shape as last time he'll beat Arreola again on points. If he shows up in good shape he'll stop Arreola.

I don't understand why Arreola is getting a rematch either. He lost fair and square and it wasn't a close or controversial fight.

Hopefully this fight is announced soon. I'm fully expecting Arreola to show up in serious condition for this fight. He knows this is his one and only chance to become champion and make history. His performance against Vitali, despite his physical shape, can't be denied, he gave it his all and kept trying to the end. I fully expect him to do the same in the rematch with Stiverne.

WHAT are you talking about? Arreola didnt try to the end against Vitali. He stayed in his corner and cryid like a girl, after taking a huge beating from Vitali. The fight was a total mismatch, where Arreola was like a child against a grown man.
