    Clottey

he picks his punches so well, and throws helluva shots to the body...Berto is a strong man, but he was down before against lesser opposition....I believe that Clottey has all the tools to KO Berto

This would be a good fight and I think Berto would be ready for it. He'll be the underdog but I think he might just squeak out a tough decision. He has such good handspeed that I think he'll keep Clottey honest. Clottey doesn't seem to have big enough of a punch to test Berto's unproven chin either. It's obviously a very big step up but in this case I think Berto matches up well. Good close fight, I hope it happens.

Still too early for Berto. He's getting there though.

Clottey would give him a boxing lesson and stop him in the mid rounds.

Really?? I don't rate Berto that highly. Good fighter, but so is Clottey. I think i would probably go with Clottey here, although i would love to watch more footage of both guys before making a prediction.

I honestly cant tell you why, logic points to clottey and as you can see most people agree with that.

Once in a while I just think against the grain and go with it. Usually not right though  .

If Berto dont take the fight against Clottey which looks likely from wat i read on espn, next in line at number 6 for the belt is Luis Collazo.
Thats a decent support bout to Cotto vs Margarito.

Fair enough... I haven't seen big amounts of either guys recently... Based on what i had seen i think Clottey would be too much. But then again, you never know, Berto could really step up. I don't think Clottely would be overly dominant like some here do, and i think Berto would make a real fight out of it. I worry about Berto's chin a bit though at this point, and perhaps heart as well.

Clottey by stoppage. Easy pick. Berto is too green, he hasnt fought any decent opposition yet and Cllotey is too much of a step-up.
