    Kovalev's a decent shout. I should have had him in the poll, but I didn't think he'd get many votes. I also agree that Bradley doesn't deserve it, but I knew he'd be up there in the voting.

    Golovkin comes in third on that list based on opponents beaten in 2013.

    Glad to see my boy Rigondeaux in the lead thus far. That one sided schooling he put on Donaire was the most impressive win of the year by far, IMO.

    So far we have one vote for Kovalev and one for Golovkin. They'd both be in the poll had they beaten better comp in 2013.

    Some others warrant consideration

    Wilder-Continued his path of destruction over a bunch of rugged durable hW's.

    Kirkland- Returned with a bang and crushed a top Latino MW.

    Charlo-Dominated a guy who busted GGG's face and only lost due to a cut from a butt.

    Cannot believe these guys were overlooked...

    hmmm....I'm struggling to pick out of Rigo Or Adonis.

    Rigo has the single best victory of the year, he completely outclassed someone who was rated highly p4p and made Donaire look like an amateur.

    But Stevenson avenged his only loss, dethroned the LHW champ in a round and has then defended his title twice against decent opposition. All four of his wins coming by stoppage.

    ...arguments could be made for the top 3 in my opinion, who are clearly above the rest.
