Most likely to beat Wlad?

Arreola and Wilder. Arreola is one of the few HWs that throws a fairly high volume of punches with legitimate power and has a pretty good chin. Wlad would have to work very hard to keep him off and if Arreola got to him at any point, Wlad would be in serious danger.

Wilder, raw as he still is, is second simply by the fact that he hits really hard and has the length to negate Wlad's jab and grab tactics. If he lands on Wlad, Wlad is getting dropped.

That said, I don't think Wlad makes either match so it's a moot point. Arreola has a good chance of losing to Stiverne again, so Wlad won't be under much pressure to fight him, and Wilder's step up process has been so slow who knows when he'll actually get in position to fight Wlad(and I doubt Wlad makes the match if he's still around then anyway).

Fury is an outside fighter I doubt he would try and get inside on wlad, do you think that would be furys game plan, to try and get inside?

Chisora has more chance of getting work done inside than povetkin, but chisora doesn't have the power to finish wlad and will get outboxed.

My point is that outside fighters with a long reach will have a better chance nowadays than inside fighters.

So if someone tells PBF slug it out with a slugger and loses he's got great?
You do what you need to win and follow the gameplan

There's nobody that has a chance right now, that's how bad it is. Everybody he faces talks a lot but they seem to forget he punches extremely hard until they get whacked with the jab, then they go into survival mode. The only thing that can beat him is father time as of now unless somebody comes out of nowhere to the top.

Mike Perez and Arreola, would love to see a Haye rematch though (however the first fight sucked)

    The Fk? :huh

Thats ridiculous, he wouldn't have a chance outside.

Wlad's outside game is about 9/10, inside... nothing... You could make an argument for him being the worst infighter off all world champions.

Fury does both, but what makes him stand out is his ability to fight inside.

Watch the Chisora fight, he was beating him at his own game, what other tall heavys could fight inside like that? Bowe, Lewis and Golota is all I got.

Why would you not fight inside against a guy with absolutely no answer to pressure?

Fury would get picked off and stopped on the outside, how did Lewis get to the much tougher brother? He roughed him up, had that been Wlad it would have been a Grant replay.

    Wilder.

He hasn't fought anyone but he has the biggest punch. If Wlad is going to lose again it won't be by somebody trying to technically outbox him, it will be a guy who starts fast and hits hard. Wilder hits the hardest so he has the best chance.

Jennings and maybe Wilder if he steps up in competition and shows he has a solid chin

fury, wilder or stiverne...stiverne fights amazing against tall opponents...watching him destroy 2 tall heavyweights, then helenius and price all in one night. when he hit any of those guys they flew halfway across the ring

I'd have to agree from what I've seen watching Wlad throughout the years is that he seems to have issues with pressure fighters inside if they can get past his jab. Perhaps it's correct to say that once people get hit by Wlad though they realize that he punches quite hard and they play it cautious so it's conceivable that more fearless fighters that have power and get inside could come out victorious (that is if they don't get knocked out themselves).

Wlads on the decline, imo. He could be in for some tough fights coming up.

Yes he might but the last thing all his opponents need is for him to revert back to pre-Steward style and start letting his hands go to make up for his lost athleticism, if that happens then nobody would want to fight him at all.

lewis beat vitali with a thumb. then used his dreadlocks as sandpaper. same strategy livingstone bramble used in the first mancini fight.
