    HBO is trying to get a good fight for Golovkin................HBO wants him to fight Kirkland for some reason, but there are hopes for Murray, Quillin, Martinez after he knocks out Cotto, Geale, Sturm, etc.....................

    Maybe against prime Froch, but the Froch of 2014 would have a tough time with GGG. IMO Froch would be the underdog on most books.

    I'd say the Ward fight is much more competative than 25/75, probably more like 40/60 or maybe 35/65, but Ward still has odds to win and probably would.

    HBO needs to listen to the fans. People want to see him with top MWs (and eventually top SMWs), not Kirkland. They need to pony-up the cash and make them happen before there's a backlash and GGG loses his ratings momentum.

    Ward still refuses to respond to Stevenson's challenge live on HBO. Stevenson said he would fight Ward at 168, but Ward still refuses to answer. There is a good reason why Ward will only fight in his home town with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc.

    ya, triple G isn't near as prolific on the inside as he is outside. susceptible to the uppercut. if he keeps Ward at distance i see a UD at worst.

    And yet you're the same guy who would probably defend the hype for Wilder who is in similar circumstances as GGG: High risk, low reward for opponents, therefore they've had some resume issues.

    I like them both and I know that hype is just part of getting bigger fights for the high risk, low reward fighters by increasing the reward side of the equation.

    HBO gave their reason why they aren't showing the fight(on HBO2)

    Quillin declined to fight GGG before the HBO/GBP beef and before Quillin had the WBO belt. Golovkin fought Makoto Fuchigami(May 2012).
    Kid Undercard didn't start barking until GBP put him in a fenced in yard.

    Ward will be in court again before he's back in the ring. That won't stop him from talking though.(how convenient)

    Geale declined a fight with GGG in Monte Carlo, because he and Gary Shaw say they want the fight on HBO.
    Geale and Gary Shaw also said that they had no problem fighting Golovkin if Geale won the WBA belt off Felix Sturm. We all know what Geale chose to do next.

    i was just watching the Golovkin vs Anthony Greenridge fight and the very same soft right uppercut-left hook to the body was used in the KO vs Macklin. Greenridge did get up at 7 though but waved off the referee, turned his back, and quit.

    Macklin lost before the fight started. He can tell that much in 4 minutes of boxing? bull****. Hes hugging him because he destroyed him
