I don't think GGG could beat Froch or even Chavez Jr

He has the tools and ability to beat both.

 

Come on, Brian Vera beat Chavez jr and that guy lost to Bursak (have you seen him last night?!).
Chavez got spanked for 11 rounds by an over the hill Maravilla before he caught him but still lost.

Froch might have a decent chance, but JCC jr??? No chance in hell.

JCCjr is a bad stylistic matchup for GGG imo.
If he's in shape and keeps in GGGs face throughout the fight it could be a very long night for Golovkin.
I still think he beats him though, but JCCjr has the potential to make him look very average.

 

I doubt they will move up to 160 lbs and GGG I think will only go down for big money fights.

I think Lara vs GGG would be a great fight, two amatuer stars with good technical skills.

 

You joking? Ref was holding him up. The only question left at that point, was whether or not Adama was going to leave that ring a whole man.

The whole fight honestly looked to me like a "live" sparring session, where GGG was putting stuff worked on in the gym into practice. Saw a few things I hadnt seen much from him before, was pretty interesting for that.

Just saw the compubox numbers as well.. he held Adama to a 12% connect rate. Adama might not be a world beater, but he is a solid boxer who could box well against Ring#3 Geale. And he was held to 12% by a pressure fighter.

the intense training began When Carl Froch was just a young lad
apart from the cycling and runs he began hardening his face by tapping his nose and chin
with a small tea spoon , sometimes for half an hour and sometimes longer 1 or 2 hours straight, depending on what other chores he had to do that day.
(He was always very determined in life to do great things)
Along the years the tapping on the nose became harder and the tea spoon got replaced with a slightly bigger tea spoon
, and then later into a regular spoon and then a big spoon ... by the time Carl Froch had aged into a man the spoon had become a frying pan
..the face had become indestructable! and he did not require many seconds to shrug of the effect of the numerous blows he absorbed in sparring

one day as we all know he joined up with robert McCracken who saw the great potential in Carl

If they fought in a state where Chavez Jr was tested strictly pre and post fight VADA style than I think GGG wins. As for Froch, I think GGG takes early lead to win on points. The question is can Froch test GGG in a way that nobody has done before and the answer is probably yes. But once GGG feels the bigger mans power he will use his RING IQ to shut out a points victory.
