Wilder went pro in 2008 is 30 fights into his career and is stepping up to fight fringe contenders at world level (his next fight is Malik Scott as far as I remember). Anthony Joshua went pro in 2013, is 4 fights into his career and hasn't challenged at British level yet. Big gap in experience.
joshua may have better skills....but i think as soon as he feels any power he folds... AJ reminds me of the kind of fighter like sillakh, a whole bunch of skills, just waiting to get exposed...DW has the power, but no chin... i think AJ can win a decision, but i think DW ends this in vicious KO.. if you want AJ to fight someone more on his level, let him fight malik scott...they are comparable
He's already way beyond the level of skill Deontay has. And he has even too much natural fast power for Deontay's chin. Joshua 9 on 10, even if we don't know his chin.
Too early for Joshua. He also shouldn't have gotten the nod over Savon. The finale against Camarelle was extremely close as well. Not sure about him in all honesty.
wilder is well proportioned....joshua gots those skinny chicken legs with the heavy top side, i can see wilder winning, in a close match that ends with a wild wind mill right
Joshua will likely have 9-10 fights this time next yr, and he'll likely be fighting the Bydenkos and MacNuggets of the division by then. Let's let him progress in the pro ranks before we go hypothetically pitting him against 5yr vets with 30KOs. :-(
Joshua has bigger legs than Wilder, Wilder is top heavy, that's why he's so strong, but his legs can snap at any moment if he gets dropped going down.
The ability to take a punch and leg size is usually correlated, not all the time but most of the time.
