He has slowed and been knocked off his perch at world and domestic level. He is still tough but he should consider retirement unless he needs to pay the bills.
Possibility of a rematch, was a very good fight... Does he have the will for this anymore though? It is a step down and must be tough mentally to get up for these kind of fights.
carbs: 300 grams on workout days/150 grams on rest days protein: 150-200 grams a day fat: a bit of healthy fats supplements: a bit of peds to increase ratio of fat loss to muscle loss and to maintain strength = down a couple of weight classes and becomes a more effective fighter. he is at around 15-20% bf and could lose at least 10 pounds easily.
well...where can he go if he doesnt get a rematch ? he cant shoot for british title at that weight....so he becomes cannon fodder for up and comers looking for a name on their record and he'll get paid very little....way I see it anyway amazing what a difference a couple of fights can make to a boxers career...I thought he put up a great showing against broner while it lasted.
Stick him in with a couple of up and comers give him a chance to get back on track or the young ones get a decent name on there record I know he was down to fight coyle last year I still like that fight or maybe even campbell in summer
I didn't see Saturdays fight but from what I've read and the fact I had him beating crolla(although that was watching in from a seat with a view that wasn't great) he hasn't lost either of his last 2 by a big margin they were both very close. Therefore with the right opponents I don't see why he can't continue for a while
i dunno sharpy....i think its immaterial how he lost as his record shows now he lost an eliminator for a domestic title....so therefore, regardless of how well we think he did, what doors are open for him ?....and if he does box on, outside of a buckland rematch, what worthwhile fights are there ??....what will make enough money to make it worth his while ?
Your right in that respect I guess unless he can get a worthwhile and meaningful fight I suppose it a waste of time. Shame how 2 results against semi descent opponents that prob both could have gone his way on the right night can pretty much finish his career
