Been beating the drum for Fury since the start of his pro career. I rate the fella and like him as a person. He's loopy but his hearts in the right place..
exactly a real fighter, less athletic and less skilled maybe, more heart than and a true hw , ****ing haye, haye even saying haye produces images of a weak soft bit of straw who crumbles under any physical pressure abit of haye imagine it, in the farm wisping away into the wind. we should support fury my fellow brits, hay did **** all vs wlad so stop making excuses and he beat no one at hw.
Fury is a really nice guy to chat to as well. I met him when he was shooting a promo for Channel 5 or Primetime a few years ago and he couldn't have been more friendly. He signed my Boxing News and got the photographer to take a few shots with me after everyone had finished. He didn't have to do that and I didn't ask him to do it. Also, he's ****ing massive, I know that's obvious but until I stood next to the guy I hadn't quite twigged just how big he is. I don't agree with everything he says but he's good value for money.
It's hard not to like the guy as he can be very amusing and is certainly down to earth but some of the things he says make me cringe and I will never believe that he had the beating of Haye if the fight had happened.
Cunningham has a better record than Haye.. Haye has always been all hype he fought basically no one at Cruiserweight then no one apart from Wlad at Heavy.. Cunningham been in with the best.. I don't know if Fury would of beat Haye but I know Haye hates getting hit.. He would of had to eat the long jab and be physically bullied until he had a chance to get to Fury.. Would of made a interesting fight.. Fury is better than we all think but maybe not as good as he betrays
It's hard not to like the caracter, but it's something completely else as rating the man as some top level HW. There was a pretty good reason why Haye was the massive favorite over him although I really wanted Fury to win if their fight ever took place. He has such glaring weaknesses that I would even lightly favor Wilder against him if they ever fight.
Fury has grown on me, always good value in the press conferences and he does actually have some skills unlike the plummer or the thug del-boy
I like how he wants to fight everyone, its not often you see that The video with him and Peter Fury, talking about how having losses is not a big deal if you fight everyone, i completely agree.
I like to read posts like this.Have watched Fury since he started, and would support him against anybody, with the possible exception of Price. But when you read this kind of stuff,it confirms you're on the right track.Wouldnt like to think he was a toss pot, although I would call him, lets say a bit "eccentric"
