Angulo is not stopping Canelo. Canelo will win a clear victory, which hopefully will set up a fight with Lara.

    Highly unlikely.

Angulo knows full well he is to lose this fight. If he wins, he will be deported and never fight in the US again.

I doubt it. He'd have to show early on that he can tag Alvarez cleanly AND hurt him. I just don't see him being able to do that, nor do I think he'll be able to cut off the ring on canelo.

Even though Lara in my eyes is a much better fighter technically compared to Canelo, he fought quite possibly the dumbest fight he could against Angulo and traded in the pocket for too long of spurts.

i don't think Canelo will allow Angulo to set up too often in the pocket, I expect him to utilize his lateral movement, head movement and quick combination punching and cruise to a UD.

Which ones? I can see one maybe, light punching Trout who Canelo beat by a close decision. But he's never even fought one hard punching, pressuring super welter

Canelo cant throw a lot of punches due to poor stamina, and he also cant use massive amounts of footwork for the same reason.

If Angulo can take his shots for 6 rounds, and can assert enough pressure (when does he not assert enough pressure) he has a chance, but Canelo is by far the better pure boxer.

Agree that he doesn't, not half as well, but if he is to be successful it will aesthetically probably resemble that fight a lot.

If the same Canelo that shows up vs Mayweather shows up vs Angulo, Canelo gets stopped.

That version is too soft to beat Angulo. If he's scared to get hit by Mayweather, he'll be terrified of what Angulo brings to the table.

If Canelo manages to beat Angulo impressively, can anyone say "Mayweather paid off Canelo."

Angulo is a ****in killer. he's gonna keep those elbows in chin tucked and move his hands non stop. Canelo better come in the best shape of his life and not expect Angulo to lay down after a few flashy combinations

Angulo is terrible. Canelo wins somehow, he is smart enough to survive 12 rounds and let his paid judges do the rest.

Canelo gameplan against Floyd was to beat him at his own game. "Outbox the master boxer "

Angulo is a lot easier to hit than Floyd so he will def be letting his hands go .Canelo is not going to stand in front of Angulo like he did against Floyd . Floyd can't punch so Canelo didn't have much to worry about .

He can't pull that with Perro .

In this fight , both fighters can easily take out one another .
