Watching Tyson's last few fights I reckon Joshua would destroy Tyson fury now. Ok fury got a decent punch but his defence his shocking and chin isn't great . If I was Joshua camp I'd go for that now

Joshua's camp will want to build him up slower than that

Fury and his camp have nothing at all to gain by fighting a novice and a great deal to lose

It's a fight that will never happen for all those reasons

Only chance is further down the line when Joshua has worked his way up to World level or there abouts and after Fury has had his crack at that level

No way in hell this fight would happen any time soon

As for your point regarding who would win - I seem to recall an interview where Tyson talked about sparring with Joshua and having big trouble with him, so you could be right. Although obviously Fury would have the advantage in terms of experience so its not clear cut.

Joshua very muscular so would he gas past 6 rounds? We know fury can go 12 so Joshua would have to land early!!

I think Fury wasn't really taking that fight seriously last night. Was caught a couple of times and took some real risks. Think it will take a bit to knock Tyson out though and he can go to war which isn't really something a fighter just starting out would want or need.

I do not think Joshua would want you as his manager. Turning a fight that could be worth hundreds of thousands of pounds in a few years time, into a fight that is 'merely' worth ten of thousands. A fight where Anthony would be a big underdog. And a fight where defeat could finish Joshua's career before it even really began. All because of a hunch?

A few years down the line Joshua almost certainly makes more money, has a much better chance of winning and even a defeat will probably not be the end of the world if Joshua has shown to have proven pedigree, pre fight.

You'd stick Joshua in with Tyson Fury based on what? He's still learning the pro game and didn't have that many amateur fights (which is a testament to his achievements in the Olympics) - you can't throw fighters to the wolves like that.

You've got to remember, Haye ****ed Fury around twice.. going through a long training camp for the biggest fight of your career only for it to fall through at the last minute dented him. He's been out the ring a while now, I was at the Copperbox last night, he wasn't in great shape but he got the job done and that's what he needed.

Now he needs to get his head screwed on and look ahead to the rematch with Chisora.

If Joshua is has good has I think and what his team thinks British levels isn't that many fights away. Let's have it right fury has hard fights with small heavyweights. Tyson fury would not go past 6 against Joshua . Too much skill speed size and power. Joshua also got a good boxing brain

As an earlier poster noted it would not happen, but I think it would be too much too soon for Joshua. I recall how he looked in the Olympic final and think Fury at this stage would know too much. Still maybe in the future...?

    LOL

    Behave.

Joshua is wank. It amazes me that people are buying into this big, stiff, 2 dimensional, robotic clown.

Price all over again with some people. Hype gets stupid..

Joshua has a long way to go, Looks promising but hasn't taken a dig yet nor shown himself vs a man of Tyson size or ability.

Saw the same stuff said about Price. Soon as he stepped up his frailties were exposed..

Joshua needs time to develop properly, Until i see how he handles being hit and how he deals with movement i'm keeping stum but Tyson stops him if they fought now.

    What a ridiculous thread!!

Joshua has had what, 3 or 4 fights?!?

Hughie Fury would beat Joshua handily, let alone Tyson!

I think it's too early to tell if Joshua can take a shot yet. With any luck we'll see him taking on a 'decent' domestic opponent soon, who might actually throw a punch at him.

Right now I would favour Fury because despite being knocked down, he's always got up, and there's no question he has real knockout power.
