Tommy Coyle fought the fight of his life tonight showing great character and determination against the Argentinian but the Argentinian isn't Kevin Mitchell hes biting off much more than he can chew calling out Kevin Mitchell, if it were Kevin landing those body shots he would never have got up.

i said that in the RBR thread billy ... mitchell kills him i reckon...poor stoppage tho and fair play to coyle for his post fight agreement...ref was a bit iffy tho with the deductions i reckon.

however that fight made an average fight night a memorable one

id have to agree with you there Billy.

But **** me he showed some heart, especially the 6th and 11th rounds.

That 11th was like up there with the 14th round in Balboa vs Drago

Both showed guts and guts is enough. Mitchell would destroy him imo be a good fight for 2-3 rounds till kevins power took over. As always depends if the real mitchell turns up

Im surprised at the fact that they've been bugging the Mitchell fight up for ages now, despite Coyle being stopped by Derry Matthews and almost stopped by this lad.He did absolutely brilliantly but from what Ive seen of him so far,he may never be ready for the likes of Mitchell.I believe theres an age disparity.Surely somebody behind him could suggest he waits about 3 years, and they look at the situation then. And if he doesn't fight Mitchell,so what??The lad could still do well.Maybe even be European champion.

    Agree totally Billy.

Crolla vs Mitchell and Coyle vs Gethin sounds fair doesn't it?.

Good shout. Would he get on a Matchroom card with him being with Queensbury though?. I like you rate Terry and would love to see him in the mix more..
