Rigo is reluctant to engage and throw punches that is why his fights are boring. He throws at 1/4th the average punches a round for the Divison. The reason is anytime he tries to be aggressive and engage he gets put on his ass because his Chin is bad. Nobody is going to make him look exciting that isn't the problem. The problem is Rigo.

Rigo is reluctant yet for some reason his opponents throw less punches than he does :nut: Not his fault his opponents can't do **** to him..gave the fighter of the year a lesson in boxing 101

No. None of the Cubans are. And that's because of how they fight. Gamboa has been mostly hype and continues to put up stinker after stinker. Rigo did himself no favors in his last fight by the way he fought. But, they don't care about any of that--as long as they win. So, I guess it doesn't matter.

His problem is he's not mexican or puerto rican , so no he's not a big draw.

Has nothing to do with nationality, fans in general don't enjoy a highly skilled defensive style.

I am a fan of all three guys, especially Gamboa, but he just walked away from a fight with rios! Gamboa, is the most marketable guy but Lara and Rigo will always be side B at best and for Rigo probably religated to the under card and not on TV.

Nobody wants to fight these guys (except for Gamboa) because they bring no money to the table. Yes they are big risk but why not fight a second or third tier fighter who can get you more money and exposure? Unfortunately, they have done very little to make themselves marketable and only have themselves to blame.

I'd say he is a pretty big draw for a guy with 13 pro fights. Where were your favorite boxers at 13 pro fights?

well if you want to put into perspective Gamboa was HBO's next big thing and Loma is probably making more money in his next fight than Rigo will make in his.

Rigo is boring as Hell.................he needs a big name on the under card so that that person draws the fans in, but if Rigo fights first, then the fans will wait until his fight is over. Rigo can't draw flies.............Klitschko drew over 65,000 people live at ringside in Switzerland. Vitali sold out Madison Square Gardnen during a huge snow storm when he knocked out Atlas' fighter Johnson.......Vitali Vs. Arreola was HBO's highest rated boxing match during the year they fought..............
