For any other fighter in the world between 140 & 147 Madaina would be seen as a top opponent.

I like this fight, I think Floyd uses the May date as a tune up and takes an even tougher fight in September like last year Guerrero then Canelo.

Mayweather has not fought a top-level opponent in their prime since Marquez - which was an undersized man and a perfect matchup stylistically for Floyd. Mayweather is definitely not a top 35 p4p fighter all time. He's 45-0 whoop de doo it only took him 18 years including a one year vacation. Harry Greb meanwhile is fighting actual competition (with a few bums) going 45-0 in one year alone. He didn't make a whole career of fighting bums like Canelo Ortiz and Guerrero like padded record Mayweather. Joe Louis' 25 championship defenses in 11 years make up more than half of Floyd's career. Sam Langford was a lightweight fighting guys 30-40 pounds heavier than him and knocked out almost triple the amount of opponents that Floyd has even fought in his whole career. Yes every fighter in history have fought bums, but regardless the top 35 have accomplished much more than Mayweather. Mayweather is the dust upon which these people walk.

With the exception of Marquez, literally all of Floyd's wins come against the following 1) paper champions (Hernandez, Manfredy, Corrales, Baldomir, Judah, Gatti, Ortiz, Castillo)
    2) washed up fighters past their best (Oscar - who isn't any good in his prime in the first place, Cotto, Mosley)
    3) padded record fighters with hype jobs by the media with no actual substance (Hatton, Canelo, Corrals)
    4) overrated people on the p4p rankings (Corrales, Canelo, Hatton)
    5) Bums in general (Canelo, Ortiz, Guerrero, Corrales, Baldomir, Mitchell, Ndou, , Hatton, Pep, Juuko, Gerena, Vargas, Corley, Bruseles, Chavez, Sosa)

    Paper champs, lol...
    1) Genaro Hernandez was consensus #1 at 130 when Floyd fought him, and had never lost at that weight.
    2) Castillo was consensus #1 after beating Johnston, and went on a great run for years after losing to Mayweather.
    3) Corrales was regarded as top 10 p4p, and an even money fight with Mayweather.
    4) When Mayweather signed to fight Judah he was the undisputed welterweight champion.
    5) Baldomir was the undisputed welterweight champion.

I guess what I'm saying is that you don't know **** about boxing, and you killing yourself would help the human race immensely.

Maidana and Bradley are the current opponents. That is why I am comparing Maidana with Bradley. I wouldn't compare Maidana with Marquez or Cotto because they are previous opponents. Although both would probably dominate Maidana.

All the Mayweather fans on here turning up so happy, so proud, in anticipation of Mayweather selecting his next punching bag, and the best fighter he is going to pick that the rest of us are gonna hear is Maidana. Hardly the fu€king fight of the millennium. Several computer screens and lap tops are gonna be sitting in the Geek Squad section of best buy damaged due to all the Floyders ejaculating all over their computer screens. The continued pussification of boxing continues

Maidana swinging at air all night, easy points victory for Mayweather.

This fight is going to stink up the place.
