I don't think they would even let Hamilton come in at anything like 141lb TBH plus his awkward style I can't see it being made anyway either!

Campbell will need to fight better level opponents sooner rather than later he is getting top level sparring and as a 26 year old you don't want him to stagnate.

The other factor is he is selling out 10k arenas does his promoter want to move him up quickly when the coin is still rolling in?

Woodhouse should walk away no doubt.:good

I don't think his style is that awkward for a guy like Luke and the extra pound wouldn't be a issue if Luke was allowed to come in at a relaxed weight. The poundage at a higher and more dangerous level would be more important IMO.

Luke's a level above Hamilton but it would be a nice step up in competitiveness sadly won't happen so it's a neither here nor there debate.

No point in sticking him in with Hamilton now and taking the risk, Campbell just needs gradual step ups every fight. Also Woodhouse was on bunceys boxing hour talking about carrying on and fighting.

Did you not see Bunce's boxing hour last night? Woodhouse was on the phone to Steve Bunce and he said he may likely continue on with his career?

So that will be music to Eddie Hearns ears as Woodhouse is a money maker as iv'e already explained to you in my previous post :deal

    :good Ah Curtis...
Don't believe Luke needs gradual steps up he's got enough experience he needs to be tested. I don't think he should run before he can walk but atm he's being fed soft food. Hamilton i don't believe presents the sort of risk you guys feel he does. As well as fact Eddie needs to get fights out of Hamilton because of the contract he just signed.

He's a good fighter but Luke's supposedly a superstar in the making. He should be able to deal with Hamilton's layback jab and sporadic attacks with not to much issue.

I'm not saying it has to be Luke's next fight but by end of summer i don't see why not as LW scene is currently a hectic situation with a lot of guys battling for supremacy.

I don't watch Bunce's hour. Not the same as it was on Setanta.

More fool Curtis, Got Darren Barker written all over it.

Then again he's just beaten Hamilton so if Ammo is a risk then Curtis is. Plus fact he digs a bit more and hurt Darren a few times to body and head on Saturday.

By the end of the year or the early part of next year he should be looking at being British champion at least. I think he is going to be in another poor fight in Manchester then hopefully there will be a step up. I just think Hamilton is a high risk low reward, he isn't really a big name and most likely he will look bad against Hamilton so theres not much point.

I feel you, I just don't know what other fights can get him the experience, testing and learning curve he needs.

Don't get me wrong this forum as well as CHB is awful for dramatic predictions and especially with young fighters but i to worry about Luke's level of opposition.

Yeah so do I to be honest, I thought he was a lot younger than he was. Hearn did say he would be fighting for titles by the end of the year so lets hope so.

You should watch Bunce's boxing hour because it will keep you up to date with the latest boxing news.

Hearn know's what he's doing and Woodhouse got the decision because it made financial sense. That's why Woodhouse is talking about fighting on as iv'e already explained.

TBF i just come on the forums and see the news bar this Woodhouse comment i rarely hear any substantial breaking news from his show nowadays. Buncey's got a nice show but don't like it's current format compared to it's old Setanta days and not sure i can sit through a hour of it now.

So you saying Eddie wanted Woodhouse to win and made sure he did on cards to make the Campbell fight?. Essentially robbing his own fighter? or you believe Eddie signed Hamilton to get him to fight Woodhouse to make Curtis champion?.

Woodhouse being champion now will make Hearn more money fighting on bills in Sheffield and Hull than Hamilton would. Darren Hamilton is only a number and easy replaced.
Hearn's in boxing to make money and it's not the first or the last time a promoter has made a financial decision in the ring, think about it? :think

Answer the questions Ryan . I don't need to think about it just asking you if you have a conspiracy theory that would see Hearn sign Hamilton so that his old chum Dave Coldwell could see his man Woodhouse win the British title against him and whether Eddie's diddled the judges to help make Curtis champion.

Not sure many felt it would be remotely close so i don't agree that Eddie's had a part to play in judges scorecards.

Eddie would have signed Curtis if he was going to 'rig' the judges

I have explained to you Hearn is better off with Woodhouse on his shows than Hamilton.

Boxing is a business and you know it is and Hearn will probably have Woodhouses next opponent already planned out for him on his show if he decides to continue.

Tell me this do you think if Woodhouse carry's on will Hearn give Darren Hamilton the rematch?
