if khan is at 3rd then where is Maccirinelli, big macs form is better than onion bhaji boy right now and his resume is virtually the same a few average wins- world champ, then getting the glass jawed smacked up a few times, both couldnt hack it at world level, exactly the same, u just got khan there cause of celeb status cause peeps are always talking about him wheres frampton, mcdonnell and fury?
you mean more 'known' fighters. big difference if you know Dominguez and Braithwaite youd know they are probably better than anyone Khan has beat, if maccirinelli beats braehmer there''ll be no argument thats for sure
He has beaten Judah, Malinaggi, Peterson,Maidana, Diaz, Barrera Hardly a shabby list is it Who have you ever beaten?
I can see why Khan wouldn't be in the top 10, but I was just making a point about how difficult it is to make a top 10 list. For example you have Quigg at 4, yet what opposition has he fought, he was lucky to draw against an unknown guy recently and his title is pure paper. You have Martin Murray at 5, yet he barely scraped a tune up opponent last time, similarly to Khan although in fairness Julio Diaz was at least a former world champ and didn't he beat or draw with Porter who is now a WW champion? For example Brook has beaten absolutely nobody and nearly got beaten by Carson Jones. At least Khan has some world level wins under his belt, Maidana Judah Malinaggi Kotelnik, his loss to Peterson is highly contraversial and D Garcia is arguably top 10 P4P now. You mention Cleverly and Barker. Firstly I wouldn't have Barker because he is retired and wouldn't have Cleverly because unlike Khan he was considered a paper champ and was dominated by Kovalev, his first step up in class. At least Khan was outboxing Garcia for the shot time before he got clipped, Cleverly was totally out of his depth. So I may be exaggerating a little but just making a point that it is very difficult to rank British fighters. I'm talking about Khan because he is a hard case because he hasn't hasn't had a good last 2 years or so but he is probably the only other Brit other than Froch who has world level wins under his belt.
None of these bums are in the worldwide top 10 p4p - Carl Froch has no business being listed either. The fact that he is put on some p4p lists only shows how overrated and overhyped he is despite his weak career. Brits need to go back to football and soccer. Boxing is for men. Britian only produces boys.
Khans best wins are Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Maidana, Judah and Julio Diaz. They all went on to have good wins after Khan at World level and some of them captured titles. Malignaggi: since Khan he has went on to have wins against Senchencko, Zab Judah and Broner (IMO). Kotelnik: Beat Maidana and Since Khan he was robbed against Devon Alexander in America. Maidana: Since Khan Maidana has beaten Morales, Soto Karass, Lopez and Adrien Broner. Maidana's next fight is against Mayweather!!! Judah: Judah's best days are behind him now, but after Khan he went on to beat Vernon Paris (top 15) and gave Danny Garcia one of his toughest fights to date. Diaz: Just before he fought Khan, Julio Diaz did enough to beat Shawn Porter, but Porter (the connected guy) got a gift draw and Porter went opn to beat Devon Alexander for the IBF title. Khan's win over Diaz looks better everytime. Khan is a two time world champion and he never won them in vacant title fights. Khan beat two world champions in Kotelnik and Judah. No other current fighter in the U.K has achieved this!!! As for the likes of Quigg he isn't a proper world champion and he never even won that title he got a draw against a Cuban. Quigg hasn't faced a top 10 opponent yet. McDonnel and Hall won vacant titles against Ceja and Mulinga!!! They were only rated in the top 15 by their organization. They weren't top 10 guys in the division. Its laughable to even think these guys are ahead of Khan when they haven't done half of what Khans achieved. No desperation needed Amir Khan has fought at top,top level and like him or not is No.2 in the U.K, but your obvious dislike for him has clouded you're judgement.
Diaz Lol as if that's worth mentioning Diaz a LW jouneyman lol. Barrera so far past his best it was a joke, Peterson he never beat him he lost that fight, Judah past it, Maidana slow plodder who got lucky vs very faded Morales, schooled by Alexander. Malinaggi decent operator tailor made for Khan and Hatton stopped him and Cotto battered him also. **** even hypejob Broner beat him. Then is other wins, McCloskey European level, Flattened by Garcia and Prescott. You listen to Sky to much anyone with a brain can see Khan was never or has never done anything special.

To the question itself 1 Carl Froch 2 George Groves 3 Ricky Burns 4 Carl Frampton 5 Scott Quigg 6 Martin Murray 7 Stuart Hall 8 Kell Brook 9 Amir Khan 10 Tyson Fury
If you want to discredit a fighter you can find a way. Ill take Danny Garcia for example, who might now be a top 10-15 P4P fighter. Garcia's resume pre Morales isn't worth talking about. Then he had a toss up fight with beyond shot Morales. He KO'd him in the rematch but he should have done that the first time. He was being schooled by Khan until he landed a lucky punch and even at that he barely got the glass jawed Khan out of there. He went life and death with Judah, years past his best who has lost all his biggest fights, was humiliated by Khan before and Malinaggi of all people afterwards, who himself got a gift over Cano and lost to hypejob lightweight Broner. Matthyse is Garcia's best win but Matthysse was injured in that fight and could only see with one eye. Matthysse was never that good anyway, he beat Peterson who obviously isn't the same fighter without the PEDs, he lost to Judah and Alexander and KO'd a few bums. Anyone with a brain can see Garcia was never or has never done anything special. ^^ Anyone can bash fighters this way, but there has to be some middle ground where you give credit where its due. Garcia obviously is a very good fighter and Khan once was too, no point in people discrediting him now and hyping Maidana now that he has got the Floyd fight.
If Khan doesn't belong in the top 10, why does Brook? His best win in Senchenko was getting beat by a shot Hatton and got stopped by Paulie I'm starting to think there is a reason he hasn't stepped up yet
:good the way the bloke has belittled khan's achievements seems like anyone one can do it. you're not going to get every fighter in their prime EVERY time. on the flip side he has kell brook at number 8 and brook has beaten nothing but tomato cans. the 0 is valued too much here.
honestly, when brook was first came to the scene... i though he was OK.. then carson jones happened, weight issues and ducked alexander like 2 times (potentially fakes injuries beacuse he couldn't make weight) - this is when he started getting on my nerves. He was suppose to have fought Alexander in Feb 2013... it's been 1 year and he is EXACTLY where he was one year ago. So when people talk about him like he is one of the best in britian it's laughable. he comes across to me as someone who is mentally weak to step up and or not dedicated. he has maybe 1 fight at 147 left. he will have to move up to lmw very soon. Now he is going to sit back and wait for shawn porter which will happen close to the end of the year. meanwhile eddie hearn is going to find him another tomato can to fight. not to mention alexander might decide to exercise his rematch clause agaginst porter pushing the bout to next year. joke of a fighter ... managed even more idiotically.
