A couple of the other sites and also some activity on twitter about this potentialy being put together 😄

If it turns out to be true this is excellent news - a real sink or swim especially for Broner - fingers crossed.

If they also get the DeGale fight, then good one for the Brit fans.

From Khan's point of view an undercard fight against Broner makes no sense.

He won't get anything close the money he'd have gotten for the Mayweather fight and if he loses he'll have no where to go.

I don't see Khan taking the risk of an undercard fight with Broner.

its actually a very good fight for khan one he hold many advantage's in. Few generate the money a mayweather fight does. No use moaning about it he needs to go earn his shot.
Broner isn't going to outspeed khan and his power wont be a huge threat
Broner is a big name in the US. This is a fight that khan can look real good in and put his name back on the map. Khan brings an audience and someone with a belt will want that sooner or later. if khan looks good he gets more press more viewers maybe then mayweather will want the fight. KHan is one decent name fight from being back in the upper reaches of the division this is actually an easy way to get it as opposed to someone like porter who stylistically would be a nightmare for him

The flip side is if he looses hes beaten by a guy who's smaller than he is and who was heavily beaten by Maidana.

I hope Khan schools the loud mouth muppet

I dont back khan against too many top ww but vs broner i would. Khan has average power but i could see him batterring broner round after round till it gets stopped. It would give khan great PR and he would get decent money for it and the build up would be great

What's he going to do then? He won't fight Brook, which due to the UK angle would likely make 2nd most after Floyd, and Americans are no longer big on him so he's not going to make too much out of the possible Guerrero fight even if it headlines a card.

Khan is too fast for Broner and will flurry and run all night and perhaps even drop Broner.

I mean if you look at Amir's options

Adrian Broner - Big reward and a low risk in my opinion if he beats Broner which I really believe he does then there is still a chance that he may earn himself a fight with Mayweather in September.

Kell Brook - Low Reward and a huge risk. Many people may not agree but I feel Brook would be too powerful for Amir and would stop him. If he did manage beat to be Brook then many people would be saying that Brook aint going fought in world class opposition.

There is a lot of options at Welterweight but if I was Amir I would take on Broner or drop back to light welter and fight Peterson

i dunno if brook would stop khan but other than i agree with your post... even if he fought brook and beat him... everyone is going to say kell brook was a hype job anyway (which is true considering his record) so other than money he does not get closer to the floyd fight....

a win over broner holds more weight... and if he looks better than maidana against him then it definitely will put him in a position to fight floyd...

khan is not money hungry... he has the money and fame.. he wants the big fight with money

Khan vs Broner would be a pointless fight! It only really helps Mayweather sell more PPV's and Floyd is the last person Khan should be wanting to help right now.

Beating Broner will hardly help Amir's cause if as expected Mayweather beats Maidana easily, that'll pretty much make Maidana's win over Broner meaningless in the context that if a boxer beat Broner he might have a chance with Floyd.

The only fight that makes sense for Amir is to fight Shawn Porter on the undercard, a win over Porter would get him the IBF Welterweight Belt and would help sell a fight with Mayweather in September seeing as it would be for the unified IBF, WBC and WBA world titles.
