So Goldenboy are feeding Thurman to Matthysse ?

I think that Thurman wanted the fight. He seems very confident that he's ready to step up. Matthysee is easy to hit.

It was Lundy who said he would fight Matthysse next, but I don't see any mention of Thurman, and Lundy is not official at all.............

people are calling thurman to fight mayweather saying he would beat him yet some how when thurman fights matthyse he is "being fed to him" ? thurman v matthyse is a great fight it gives him a chance to prove if he is really an elite fighter

This would be a crazy fight, there's no way in hell anyone should or would miss this. Still though, this is a risky fight for both guys and if Matthysse loses then Golden Boy pretty much ruined him by signing him to fight Thurman immediately after the brutal fight with Garcia. I expect Golden Boy to plan a better future for Matthysse than being on undercards.

 

thurman will easily beat matthysse. Once again we have a one dimensional fighter who an punch going up against a skilled fighter who can adapt and can also punch. The skilled guy ALWAYS win. Stop buying into hype... jeez

I think if that fight gets made, which I highly doubt, you should think about rephrasing your thread title, bc Matthysse will be the one being at a big disadvantage here.
Thurman is basically a 154 campaining at ww, while Matthysse has never fought over 140.

Reckless? Lucas neutralized Danny's left hook for most of the fight until he got thumbed and couldn't see anymore. He was beating Garcia clearly before he fought one eyed. Even with his arms tangled in the ropes and with one eye Swift couldn't knock Lucas out. Hits Lucas with 2 clean left hooks all Lucas does is take a knee. Thurman is very promising, but he's not ready for Lucas. Garcia is a big Jr welter Thurman would get Bronered by Matthysse.
