Rumors of Khan v Broner on the Mayweather undercard

Khan beats Broner

 

I think this fight will probably happen, but Amir Khan's ego is way to big to be fighting on an undercard. This fight will headline a Goldenboy show in May.

 

No way this happens on Mayweather's undercard in May.

IF and WHEN it does though, Khan would beat him. Good fight though, will be entertaining that's for sure.

You just know Broner will pipe up with the glass jaw comments, Khan will bounce back with... "well Maidana dropped you twice, he didn't drop me" etc. Will be a good build up.

 

Stick Khan in with Thurman with the winner getting a shot at Mayweather.

All GBP and surely would be easy to make?

 

Thing is Mayweather vs Maidana will be one sided unless Khan stopped Broner they have to sell the fight as Khan just beat Broner who Maidana just beat who Floyd just schooled

They gonna have to hope Khan's looks fast and doesnt get caught, I think Broner stops him

Only because Broner wont fear his power like he did Maidana

 

They will definitely put a big fight on the under card, like they did with Garcia/Matthysse when he fought Canelo.

But I can't see it being Khan/Broner.

 

khan fighting broner is only for the name and money. unless broner avenges his loss and proves himself as a legit 147 fighter. If he loser neither gain and khans are plans and dead. So that's a money fight. He can either fight Thurman or porter. Thurman's a dangerous fight and if khan wins, people will say Thurman ain't beat anyone, and had no title. He's an Unknown quantity without much gain. I feel khan will look at porter and see that he had a draw with Diaz who khan beat, and has a low kO percentage. Also porter holds the IBF title. When mayweather beats maidana he'll have the WBC and the WBA. So if khan gets the IBF he will have more power and standing for the fight. It's the only real concrete path..

 

they would get million dollar paydays which is usually unheard of for undercard fights and effectivley it would be a double main event.


however you must realise that GBP have an exclusive deal with showtime and they nor the network will allow other promoters on their tv time even as opponents, its disgusting but its the way it is.

Schaeffer will be eleminating one of his main eventers and a potential floyd opponent on and undercard fight. Wont happen, if it did I pick Broner.

 

I do think Khan takes this fight if it goes ahead. I think we might actually have found a welterweight less comitted to improving themselves than Khan!

 

I don't think Khan will take this fight if its to be on the under card of Mayweather fight. Mayweather will use Khan to help with the PPV numbers against Maidana, I don't think Khan will be fooled twice or maybe Khan is stupid enough who knows.

 

Khan will beat Broner, probably knock him out!!!
