Didn't Floyd call out Mosley after he fought Corrales? :think

Also wasn't "prime" mosley Injecting himself with EPO?:think

but to answer your question, no. He would have got outboxed the same as he was when he wasn't in his prime. Mosley would never out smart or outland Mayweather at any weight at any time in his career.:nono

Prime Mosley would have had a good chance of stopping Mayweather.

Looks like over 70% share that view.

An old Mosley almost knocked Void out, had Void out on his feet, but then suddenly quit punching as if he was afraid Void might get angry..................sad....................

Ok.....39 yo Mosley buckled Floyd it comes with the territory. You all make it like mosley didn't have punching power you all seem to forget he came into that fight strong and confident after destroying margarito who we had never seen beat up like that. So mosley came into the ma yweather fight strong and hungry with a lot of momentum problem was he thought he had floyd and floyd adjusted on the fly. If you research that fight he buckled floyd twice but still could not move him any other boxer would have taken a knee. The problem that any boxer from any era in their prime or not would have with floyd is you may win a few rounds here and there but he adjusts and changes on the fly so when you have a game plan to beat him he has 25 gameplans for you to beat yourself ask canelo or any other fighter that was in thier prime and they all say the same thing "he ran" lol really. So to answer your original question if prime Shane could have knocked floyd out the answer is yes but probably wouldn't because of the adjustments. Floyd is the only boxer in the history of the sport that can make adjustments every round he has no game plan most of the time he gives you a cheat sheet and then changes the test right beneath your nose

A roided up to the max prime Mosley would have had a great chance of knocking Mayweather out, seeing how a shot to **** ancient version almost got him out of there.
That would've actually been a great, close fight.
One of those fights Floyd tends to avoid for whatever reason... :rofl

If a prime Mosley landed clean... yeah he could stop Mayweather.

But as others have said a world of a difference between would and could. All but the most feather fisted could stop anyone.

Would back Mayweather against Mosley at any point in his career, not taking anything away from Sugar Shane I just think Mayweather's the superior fighter and would always come out on top.

Now we know Mayweather didn't beat the very best version of Mosley, but let's not forget power is the last thing a fighter loses and Mosley was coming off one of his career best wins against Margarito. He caught Floyd in the second with 2 cracking shots, but then he got systematically beat for the rest of the fight. In fact, Floyd took control of the 2nd round after Shane basically had his only success.

There isn't anybody at 147 prime Sugar Shane couldn't knock out. As many have already posted it is whether or not he could penetrate Mayweather's defence repeatedly that is the question.

Mosley was a truly special fighter down as a lightweight up to 147. It's a shame he has those drug cheat question marks over him as other than that he is one of my favorites.

Typical Stan **** to call people *****s and *******s just for pointing out double standards. I was replying to a poster who has a specific reputation of being biased towards one particular fighter. This is carry over from other threads so quit whining about it. All I asked the guy is that if guys like Shane and DLH were washed up when they fought Mayweather then what were they when they fought Manny since Manny fought them after Floyd? What is there to be mad about? Notice how you didn't answer, instead you got emotional when facts come up. Crybaby ass dudes like you always getting mad when specific fighters are questioned on the forum as if these boxers are gods and some of them should be held to different standards from other boxers.

Since Floyd and Manny are as great and ATGs as you guys make them out to be on boxingforums24 then why not hold them to equal standards? Everybody is washed up and shot when opponents fight one particular guy and the wins are less "meaningful", but it's okay for the other to fight the same guys after and those wins "count". Now that's some stan ****.

There are lots of deluded bias posters particularly regarding the fight that never was. Annoyingly whoever you criticise you get labelled one way or the other. I've been called a ***** and a ******* depending on what thread it is and what point I'm responding to despite never changing my position. Btw using phrases coined by Eminem isn't much better. Not cool.
