Ricky Burns vs. Terence Crawford RBR

Crawford is not taking it from the Champion just yet, he needs to do more than this

 

Fairly uneventful round. A lot of punches thrown by both guys, but not much landed. Crawford need to make these rounds clear or he won't win a decision.

Got Burns 2-0 up so far, but the first round can be either-or depending on what you prefer flashy combos or a quality jab.

 

Rd 1 - 10-10, close
Rd 2 - 10-9 Burns, Crawford hardly throwing anything.

Accuracy issues by both men in round 2. Close, but I think Burns edged it.

Crawford needs to re-think he decision to go southpaw. While an argument could me made for him sneaking in these rounds, it's not enough to win on the other man's turf. Frankly, they're close rounds even on neutral ground.

 

Most significant punch of the 2nd round...a jab landed by both guys at the same time.
