Tight fight imo if Beltran caught him flush he has a chance , Crawford was good but not unbeatable and if the Burns that blew Mitchell away turned up wed be having a different discussion , i honestly thought ricky would over power Crawford but didnt happen id have liked to have seen him try more to drag crawford into a brawl turn him on the ropes and let go of more shots ,The way Ricky delt with Mitchell for me would put any LW in serious sheit , All that aside the atmosphere was frightening and win lose or draw i know one thing when rickys back all 10k strong will be back to get behind him as the guys a gentleman and a peoples champ , Heres hoping he blows away a domestic tune up fight then gets a shot at Abril Vasquez or Figueroa
Crawford beats any version of Burns for me, people making like Burns was Roberto Duran incarnate or something. As for Crawford v Beltran, didn't see beltran/burns so cant comment
Is that you Jim Watt? You Jocks are ****ing funny, absolutely full of it, literally can't help yourselves from spieling insane amounts of bull****. You actually end up believing the **** though, like when Blobby Nelson says he didn't make out Burns did enough to win against Beltran. :dead
Assuming he gets through Martinez (which he should in fairness, as Martinez's run of being gifted decisions hopefully ended when Garcia clouted him) this is an excellent move for Beltran. It also makes sense for Crawford as his first defense if he isn't fussed about getting back in the ring too soon, if not in terms of risk/reward then in respectability. Giving a shot to someone who ought to have beaten the man you beat for the belt, that's class.
:? What's a dummy? (probably something we yanks know by a different name, but never heard that one) Security blanket? Just going from context clues.
Ah, yes. Well pacifier is the actual proper word for it. Our slang, counterpart to dummy I guess, is "binky".
I don't like Abril one bit, but yeah, if Burns was lunging and missing badly with Beltran, Chelo, & Crawford...
