Fights against Bradley, Rios, Provo, and Pac won't be happening anytime soon. He'll have to move up to WW to fight Khan.

A rematch with Judah would be a nice get well fight while excising the loss from his record. If the Judah fight can't happen, then Selcuk Aidyn would be nice followed maybe by Breidis Prescott.

After that? Maybe Khabib Allakverdiev or Provodnikov and then lobby for a Garcia rematch.

If he wants to jump to 147, opportunities and danger abound. If he's patient he can keep busy against guys like Josesito Lopez, JSK, and others while waiting for bigger fights with Alexander, Porter, Malinaggi, Thurman, Guerrero etc.

a belt at 149. You alsohave Cuenca, Angulo, Lundy(probablt his next opponent), Perez and (unlikely) rematch with Garcia or a shot at Garcias belts if he is to vacate them after the Herrea defense, provided Garcia is successful.

Evidently, he took the loss pretty hard so I'm not sure if he'll ever be the same again. He'll still win fights but I'm not sure if he'll get back to where he was pre-Garcia.

It's amazing how much love and support Matthysse had only 7 months ago... A shame for it to disappear from one defeat...

Khan is only going to fight Matthysse at a catchweight on twitter.

Lucas is a good and tuff fighter. Don't know if his confidence has been shattered, but if so he just need a couple of fights and then try challenge Garcia again. He has all the right tools to be champ again and his style of fighting if fan friendly.
