Mismatch, it would be much more one sided in Scott's favour than Ricky's beatings of Beltran and Crawford. Scott's world class footwork would get him in close to Ricky who showed v Crawford he can't handle hard punches as u seem him winching to billy in between rounds about body shots. Scott's hooks would have his ribs looking like slabs of meat. Ricky would be stopped middle of fight

I like Burn's and hope he can come back and win another world title, but Harrison was a beast when he was in his pomp. Was at a few of his fights, his fight against Brodie springs to mind - just smashed him up and Brodie at the time was no mug.

I think Ricky deserves another chance at world title level next, but if Hearn is talking about dropping him down to domestic level, then Scott Harrison would be better than the Crolla-Murray idea.

Burns-Harrison would fill 11,000 at the Hydro or you could put it outdoors in the Summer at Firhill or Airdrie's ground and get 15 to 16,000 no bother. Even Parkhead or Ibrox (depending on the Commonwealth games)and go for 20,000 + Better business £££.

Do you think the Scots are still interested in Scott Harrison? He's not been relevant since 2005 and his loss to Liam Walsh last year took all the steam out of his comeback and he's not fought since.

At his best he was a World Class Top 10 Featherweight but not Top 5, he struggled with Manuel Medina and Victor Polo and would have been brutalized by the likes of Marquez, Barrera, Hamed, Pacquiao, Morales, Larios, Tapia and Kelly.

He only had success at Featherweight because he was big for that weight wheras at Lightweight he's fighting guys his own size or bigger so wouldn't have been good enough to win a World title at 135lbs even 10 years.

As for Burns vs Harrison assuming both were at their peaks:

At Feathweight i'd pick Harrison as Ricky would be weak making 126lbs.
At Super Feathweight it'd be a 50-50 fight.
At Lightweight i'd pick Burns as he would be too big and strong for Scott.

I do know Billy Nelson rated Harrison very highly and was part of Scott's team when he was being trained by his dad Peter.
