Now come on, boxers may be noble in some context, but promotor honoring negotiation partners and good faith negotiation:rofl What freakin planet are you from. Palle is a useless piece of ****, anyone denying it should be disintegrated, but who are you? Mirandas offended mother quit that who did what ****, and time to move on ****!!!! I want that fight and I want it now!!! So do you, no need in denying it
No. Just the Kessler fans were making it so easy to poke a stick at them and get them stirred up. Seizing a scrap from Kessler's manager's web site as 'proof', desperately trying to shove that shoe on the other foot. Easy pickings.....
Only simple if you don't have prior negotiations. Just because that means nothing to Palle doesn't mean that the rest of the world goes around screwing other people at the drop of a hat they THINK dropped. And lets not forget. Who wants to deal with Palle? He flat out lied and tried to blame Miranda's people for the fight falling through by saying the contact was not what they agreed to? Only to have Miranda's camp publish it and Palle went silent when caught in his lie? Now we are to believe there were negotiations? Any negotiations? Let alone serious negotions from this guy? Kessler's management screwed up and put up a pathetic press release trying to save face. Buy into it if you wish.
Initial reports of Palle's excuse for pulling out of the fight was that MIRANDA's camp did not write the contract to their specifications. Miranda's camp printed the document as proof that it was not thier doing. Tell me where the error in my logic is.
Doesn't answer my question. So again. Palle said he didnt' sign it because it wasnt' written as agreed to. What point was in error when he said that? It was agreed as to where the fight WOULDN'T be. Palle hadn't demanded the location be in the contract or he would have pointed to that. Again. He said he didn't sign because it wasn't what he agreed too. Exactly what point was deficient. (Location was not sited by him since it wasn't a prerequisite of the deal) http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=3293638 " The deal was brokered by promoter Lou DiBella, who does not promote either fighter. DiBella had no comment on the deal. The sources said that one of the stipulations in the agreement, which has been negotiated but is not signed, is that the bout will not take place in Florida, where Miranda promoter Seminole Warriors Boxing is based."
Doesn't take a lawyer to document this shamble created by Palle. I have backed up all of my assertions with documentation.
It is hard to argue against Hermit. Out of all the posters on the board, when he makes a statement (factual) he can back it up. And that is why he is one of the more respected people here. :good
Well we'll be wiser soon - in Palle's pressrelease he mentions that DiBella has played a big part in securing the Kessler-fight on HBO versus Miranda ... if that is true, then we can asume that DiBella wasn't that f*cked over by Palle with the first fight falling through ... and if that is correct, then it's fairly possible that the contract wasn't good enough the first time around... but time will tell ... hopefully
I sympathize with both Hermit´s and Jan(DK)´s view points. but what it really comes down to is really just a YES or NO....crap or get OFF the pot. It's really that simple.:deal
If Miranda looses to Abraham one more time he's a journeyman in my book. Then there will certainly never be any Kess-Miranda fight. All good.
