it's not surprising considering the pull-outs of a couple of fights.

the top of the bill is still an interesting fight, but not enough by a long stretch to have on PPV. i suspect the numbers will resemble the crowd... lacking.

According to Floyd haters Canelo was a big PPV and the only reason why the fight did such great numbers

This will do nice numbers for a non-mayweather or pacquiao fight. Mexican fighters sell we all know that (May-CA May-ODLH). The problem is, don't they want a rowdy live crowd? Yeah go ahead and sell the floor seats for whatever the hell you want, get some famous faces in there, but sell the rest of the tickets for something less than the average american paycheck. Absurd.

Now they'll get to give the last 1000 seats away and claim sell-out.

    HAIL GOLDEN BOY!

All fighters need a good dance partner to pull some good PPV's. Floyd and Canelo are no different.

FLoyd vs previous opponent did less than 1 mill PPVs
FLoyd vs Canelo did 2+mil. ............................... Do the math.

Canelo is still pulling more fans now than FLoyd did at the same age!

Floyd-Guerrero reportedly did 1million. Fat Dan claimed his sources had it at 850K and people took it as gospel without any proof.

I agree that Canelo's hype contributed to the PPV success with Floyd, but people were going overboard and saying that it was all Canelo.

Incredibly overpriced tickets. From what I see Chavez / Vera 2 was 1/3 of the price. Most expensive tickets were $200. I would have preferred to see that card with Lomachenko on the undercard than the Canelo / Angulo matchup.
