age restrictions at boxing shows?

I don't think I have ever seen a lad as young as ten at a boxing show. I don't think there would be an age limit for the fight you're thinking about going to. If you'd be happy to take the chance with some industrial language at a footy match then you'd not hear anything worse at the boxing. He'd certainly make all his mates green with envy.However I do wonder how good a view anyone will get attending boxing at a footy ground without spending a fortune on the tickets. Personally I would take him to a local small hall show first and gauge his reaction.

 

I agree 100% mate, take him to a smaller show and see if he enjoys it, if you have to pay good money for the Groves vs Froch fight and he isn't enjoying it then it will be a very long and costly night for you!!

 

Agree with the other posters. Do a small hall show first. My lads 12 and he loves it at small hall shows.. Just pre warn your lad about the odd idiot and Language. At any show. also like said b4 will b expensive to get good seats for froch groves. My advice ppv and a take away. Wat area u from

Agree with other posters but on the other hand what a first experience that would be!! Maybe be hard to live up to any other show after that.....boring story/examplr my kids first ever holiday abroad was disney world florida after 4 years of saving I took them at 6 and 8 yr old for 3 weeks now exery spain turkey greece trip after that they think is rubbish lol bbut go for it

 

At the Khan Prescott fight there was a kid there aged around 7 or 8

 

The most important thing will be the quality bonding time you will both have. You will be the ****ing man in your sons eyes. Worth every penny

Possibly yes depending on how protective you are of him.

The problem with boxing is it takes place in the evening which gives drunken oafs all day to get pissed and cause trouble later on.

There's going to be upwards of 50,000 people at this show and you better believe that a good portion of that crowd are going to pissed up football fans.
