Loma would knock Russell out. I bet Russell doesn't fight him .

Loma would be wise to fight a few UK bums prior to meeting Russell. :yep

Russell only calls out top rank fighters ; and only fights guys with 5 or more losses.

It's so clear to see what the deal is, Ray Charles could see it.

Anybody who knows boxing beyond just being a fan can see that gary russell jr is leagues above loma just on skillsets alone i dont think it would be close gary would make loma look like a can. Im sorry I understand the frustration im also very frustrated with his progress but I see skills and ring intelligence that no one else possesses regardless of the opposition he has faced. Bottomline is this we will watch a slow paced carrer transform into an unstoppable force that everyone will avoid. He is about to clean that division everybody better start moving to different weight classes now to avoid him

:blood People have been complaining about Russell Jr's level of competition for years, yet now want him to fight a guy who doesn't even have a winning record?

If the odds are that relevant, than Lomachenko's loss to Salido must be one of the worst of all-time.

    You are right.
All the hype we'll been bombarded about Loma's skills definitely were absent in his last fight. His power, his speed, his superior boxing ring generalship were all MIA against Saildo.

I doubt that Gary Russell would have grabbed and hugged half the match like Loma did. Win or lose, Russell would have had 10x the punch output of Loma, and I give Russell much more of a chance to stop Saildo just because he puts his punches together better.
Perhaps Loma will perform better against Russell then he did against Saildo, but Saildo is super slow compared to Russell, and his movement isn't as good either.

I don't see Loma beating Russell. Distractors will whine that Russell's arms are too short, but who needs long arms against an opponent who falls in to grab and hug? Russell won't allow Loma to hug him. When he comes into distance, he would be met with a 5-6 punch combo.

Mares had a interesting interview on BScene, saying he doubts Russell would accept a fight with Lomachenko and that he himself would have second thoughts about fighting Lomachenko being that Lomo is on a different level. Big respect.

Why? Because Russell is on level with UK bums?

If Russell had the ability to beat upper level opposition, he would've fought top 20 level opposition by now and held a title, he's been pro five years now with 24 fights. His toughest opponent was Gusev and the first meaningful shot Russell landed he hurt his fragile hand.

5'4, short arms, fragile hands, little power. I highly doubt Russell takes this fight, where Lomo & TR are dead set on fighting for the WBO title. See if Russell finally steps up, but I doubt it.

Actually, I doubt if we will see a match up between Loma and Russell.
Loma's handlers aren't so dumb to make the same mistake twice.
If Loma gets stopped by Russell, they had little chance to cash in any time soon on Loma, so I doubt if they would agree to the matchup.
