Is Angulo vs Canelo the most obvious fixed fight of all time?

During the first round when Angulo was throwing the slowest punches in the history of boxing with no pop or power I thought ok he is saving his power for the later rounds. It's not a bad strategy to combat "Gasnelo". 9 rounds later when he is still punching slower and with less power than my grandma, I knew this fight was fixed.

This is the problem with trying to fix a fight with a stupid fighter like Angulo. He is just not smart enough to pull it off. To throw that slow and weakly all night is just an embarrassment to boxing.

It actually takes more effort to throw that slowly than punch at a normal speed. You cannot generate any power that slow.

prolly not the most obvious than someone who dived in the tyson fight cant remember.

100k has a lot to do with it.

moving the fight to mw was a deflection, not to be investigated for greasing the palm of angulo.

    i mean what the hell.

angulo cant shed off .6 lbs.

if it kills drainelo to shed another lb, what happens shedding 3 more?

yep, pedjr fought a zombier than zomby drainelo.

"hey we're not paying off angulo 100grand. this is for moving the fight to m w because i can no longer make 154. it will kill me if i try".

"the 152? i was dead zombie then". lmao.

Guess you didn't see the 8th round. Round of the year according to some writers.

This is what happens when you have an elite fighter throwing bombs back at you. You people are ******ed, it was a great fight and the better man won.

Alvarez destroyed him, are you saying he took some money in order to lose via a beating and ruin the career he has dedicated his life too?!!!

I went with of course not, you're a moron. People seem to forget that Canelo is a hard puncher himself. It should come as no surprise that Angulo lost steam on his punches considering Canelo was lighting him up from the opening bell. FYI, Angulo also lost steam on his punches when Kirkland started tagging him in the first round of their fight. Not to mention, Canelo was doing a good job of parrying and rolling with Angulos punches which prevented him from getting leverage on them. Notice how Angulo was getting more leverage on them in the 8th round when Canelo lowered his guard and stood toe to toe with him.

Angulo never threw thoses girly pity pat punches before. The clown who said he can't get leverage should be removed from the podium. He was deliberately throwing with zero power.
There's no way Virgil trained him to fight like that.

It was the same **** in the Trout fight with Trout.

    Blatant fix job.

Why was it fixed? Angulo is trash. Do not know why anyone gave him a chance. I certainly didn't.

Why would you need a fighter that's lost all of his relevant fights to take a dive?
