I'll ask you the same question but in another fashion: you all saw what Canelo was able to do in the ring last night. What a skills set. After one round, he already tried much more against Angulo than Floyd(who is by FAR, a stronger puncher than Floyd). My question: how much was paid Canelo to take care of little Floyd?!
Well...think whatever you want. It happens and I could tell you a real life story with 2 reals boxer in my country. Somebody in the entourage of one of the boxer involved told me something and since that time, he said he doesn't believe in boxing anymore and. I can't blame him with what happened. Fixed fights happens.
name 1 world class fighter in the last 50 years who has thrown a fight due to being paid off :nono what an ignorant thing to say when you have no facts to back it up also every sport has had corruption not just boxing
Yes angulo was paid off to take 10 rounds of complete bombs to the face and body risking his life and his future health and not being there for his daughter ****ing idiots
not sure what his pay was in the contracl, but whatever it was he got that plus th 100k for them to both weigh in a little over. anyone who think angulo was paid extra to take a career ending beating is more then stupid. NO fighter that is in a big fight would EVER take a dive for pay. whoever thinks they would is a total assclown. they would have to pay angulo like 15m to make it worth it and an extra 10m for the flack he would be taking from his former fair weather fans. umm i dont even know of any true fans, you think he would take a dive in a match he thought he could win ? against the 2nd biggest star in boxing. you dont even know what a win would mean, obviously. PLEASE go watch a sport and you actually follow during the matches
Check this out, I didn't watch that fight because I don't pay for bull**** but a friend of mine who doesn't watch boxing was invited to watch it and he was telling about it. He said, Canelo was punching Angullo for all he was worth and Angullo was throwing punches like he wasn't trying to hurt Alverez. He said it like this: he wasn't even hitting him hard. I said to myself, Dam, I knew it. I can't wait to watch the free version.
Look at round 9 with 14 seconds left on the clock Angulo goes swinging but Canelo enters the Matrix. Looked like he was throwing with intent to hurt Canelo there, imagine if that connected cleanly would be night night for Canelo.
You guys are right the outcome was predetermined, Angulo was going to get beat up bad but he didn't take a dive. The bribe was his purse.
According to the Judd letter; at the time Vlad was drugged in the fight with Brewster there was an ongoing FBI investigation into fight fixing, not to mention a judge being bribed, etc. Read the Judd letter to the Attorney Gen. Sen. McCain, etc. So, is boxing crooked? Well...........look at all the criminal judges and criminal referees, and the promoters get by with it. It's time for a federal boxing commission...........
Canelo is an elite top 10 P4P fighter, Angulo is a C class punching bag brawler. Why are you surprised by the outcome?:huh
