What if he was a keen boxing enthusiast who liked to hit the bags/pads before/during when he became a music superstar?

People are too quick to judge.

I bet he'd beat the boxing snobs who won't watch it now in a bout :good

What if he was a keen singer who liked to hit the recording studio once in a while?

Excuse my scepticism but Usher is barely a decent singer, let alone a decent actor.

Don't listen to the others, this film has the potential to be great.

Usher Raymond playing SRL will only be a very small part of the film and i doubt he'll have much dialogue or screen time beyond them showing the two fights between Duran and SRL.

It's the Director, screenplay and main actors that are the most important element on this film and in Jonathan Jakubowicz they have a very good young Director and writer who made the brilliant Secuestro Express. It's a shame Gael Garcia isn't playing Duran as he was originally meant to do but Edgar Ramirez is an excellent choice too and hopefully Robert De Niro won't phone in his performance like he's done in a lot of films since the 90's.

Overall boxing biopics are always hard to get right, i'm sure no matter how well recieved it is we as boxing fans will always find them factually wrong.
