Not everyone has got loads of dough like you lad. Myself I'll spend whatever as I'm daft with dough but it doesn't mean you can't do it cheaper, why have you got to spend £70 for a meal just because your off to wembley?
Fair enough, I would not say I have loads of dough. My point is £70 for a meal in London after the fight is fairly average, you could spend a lot more.
meal afte the fight? you wont be getting out of there until 11.30-12ish. Best bet will be a curry or chines - £30 tops
Does anyone know how long it takes to get out of a full or near full Wembley these days? Last time I went was the reopening in 2007 for the Cup Final and it seemed to take ages to get to the tube, though we did stay behind a bit to watch the trophy presentation.
Getting away from wembley is a **** whether on the coach or tube. Nothing has changed. Last time I went I got a cab back to North London as I couldn't be arsed with the messing about. It cost £60 to angel in a hackney but between a few of you that's well worth it .
Funny enough I was involved in a project to do with Cardiff's urban heritage a little while back and remember seeing the plans for the White City Stadium. Not being much of a historian it was a bit of an eye opener as there's obviously no sign of it now and been built over. And I think 93,000 may have been ever so slightly over capacity as healthy and safety didn't exist then! Just came across this photo of the old place. Without big screens like you do these days I don't know how on earth anybody saw anything!! http://www.coflein.gov.uk/en/catalogue/6369757/details/504/
Just seen an interview with Eddie and he reckons the £80-£100 tickets will sell out the quickest.... Judging by what people are saying here I think he's probably right, that seems to be the most popular price bracket
The prices seem reasonable considering its a massive fight. I just bought tickets to the mayweather v maidana flight immediately after they went on sale & the cheapest I could get was $580 inc tax.
