Such a simple question, but I never saw it posted here. So who is it, and why?

    Both current and all time.

marco antonio barrera - great style in the ring but i fell in love with him outside, the way he carried himself a very calm manner until he signed to fight you then it was a war. the way hed fight you was like you beat up his mumma. i also loved the fact that he grew up in an upper middle class family and was on his way to becoming a lawyer when he stopped to pursue a boxing career, like he did not need boxing he did not need to fight to put food on the table but that fire in his belly he had to box

So many that I have liked over the years and even today.

All time possibly - S R Leonard, De La Hoya
Today, possibly - Mayweather maybe Pacquiao, Cotto

    So many great fighters

All time would be Duran for me. Sometimes his behavior was classless, but the 1st time I saw him in about 1970, I was simply blown away by his intensity. Plus he fought EVERYONE, and I do mean EVERYONE, no matter how much bigger they were and at what stage he was at in his career. Presently, it has to be Miguel Cotto. He has massive flaws, but he fights everyone and seems like a decent fellow.

So happy you mentioned Johnny Tapia:good. He's one of my favorites, too.
