Hopkina is doing a better job than don king we all know boxiing is has and will always be the most racist sport and he is being tasteless but it sells man alot of people never heard of joe but they want to see hopkins lose from those comments which will make money sorry boxing fans u know its true its not soccer its boxing
relentless why do u follow me around this msg board i honestly dont like hopkins i think he is a ******* for what he did to his newphew but why do u bother me all the time? get a life point is boxing is racist we know it and that what the topic is about
I became a fan of yours after i saw your fight on the VS network. I was put off however after i saw that interview you did. Why take that route?(you paid for it and learned the hard way). When it comes down to being face to face mano i mano in the ring being from the HOOD doesnt make you any tougher.
boxing definitely isnt most racist sport... any sport that is dominated by all participants (fighters, corner men, cut men, promoters) that are minorities cannot be the most racist sport.... soccer-foot ball-golf-baseball are more racist
i said i was sorry for those comments i am trying to sell a fight to ******* what do u know about getting TWO grand for a boxing match u know what that feels like? go **** off i got kids to feed i will say whatever this is boxing TRASH TALK SELLS GET A LIFE AND BTW I WON THE FIGHT ASK HAROLD LEDERMAN
Actually I would say that Hockey is very likely the MOST racist pro sport followed by golf, cricket, and NASCAR.
I don't believe that Hopkins is tryin to sell tickets in the last week. He probably trained hard as always but now that he's older and has been 13 months inactive before Wright and almost nine months since, he probably is just tryin to convince himself that Calzaghe doesn't have this one in the bag already. Actually, he called out for him after Wright and that was no mistake - he knows that if he pulls this one, it will be a great achievement and a glorious farewell to boxing. The toughest middleweights in America have been afro-americans most recently because they had all that physical condition to go along with the boxing skills and the mental toughness. Bernard has fought Hoya and didn't find him particularly tough, and therefore, he has the right to think that he has an advantage here... That's not exactly being racist towards Calzaghe - he believes that the afro-american fighters are tougher than the Europeans and that he would never lose to one. Calzaghe feels he's too old and therefore, he has no advantage whatsoever - Calzaghe is also tryin to psyche him out using age and the psysical ability associated with it... Age, race, nationality, it really doesn't matter all that much... Not even to promote a fight that is not even PPV. Boxing can't be that racist since these guys spend time trash talkin, punching themselves but also rubbing sweat bodies one against the other for 36 minutes, and they finish the fight embracing themselves and even kissing each other ( Calzaghe-Brewer, Hopkins-Hoya). Then, Calzaghe wants to fight with Hagler's jab and Ray Leonard's speed and those are coloured men... Boxing is not a racist sport.
And the dick lost the fight too; tragic. If you look reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaallllll closely you can see a tear in my eye......... Of all the sports in the world boxing is the one which is prejudicely pro black but I suspect that's more to do with historical recent dominance than actual racial prejudices which social and living standards haved played a large part in forging. That still doesn't excuse this muppets statement but then again some people are just plain racists with no excuse. Always annoys me though when I see someone who can afford a Ferarri bitching about race; just highlights the worst in people.
