    I still can't work out the choice for best boxer. Ray Close was awful.

    why is it my fault that it is a fact that Joe enjoys showboating against 40somethings?

    You'd think it was me doing the showboating!

    No, but there is a ****ing difference between showboating against a past-prime but still #6th ranked Light Heavyweight able-bodied Roy Jones Jr. - who chose to take the fight knowing that he was past his best and knowing it was a possibility that it he would be humiliated or mocked - and saying Calzaghe would fight a disabled man, mock him while doing it and claim he was great for doing it.

    Just watched part of the second Collins vs Eubank fight. They both looked slow and unathletic compared to the best boxers of today.

    That was a horrible, horrible fight. Collins fighting like a demented barroom brawler bell-to-bell, and Eubank completely spent after a few rounds, balance horrendous and huge gulps of air and water between rounds....

    Watched it again.... it wasn't pretty that Eubank-Collins II fight!
