How about Abner Mares vs. Juan Manuel Lopez at 130 pounds? Who wins?

    Juan Ma definitely stole the show last night. So many boxing fans were quick to write him off. Remember, we're talking about a two division world champion, with his only losses coming at the hands of Orlando Salido and Mikey Garcia. Great stoppage by the referee. Ponce De Leon was stumbling all over the place like a drunk.

    Abner Mares recently expressed his desire to win a fourth world title in as many weight classes. Why not test the waters at super featherweight against someone like Lopez?

    Mares beats him, Juanma has Ponce's number and their styles always make for a short and brawl type of a fight, but against a better opponent like Mares he would loose in my opinion but would still be an interesting fight to see how Mares looks at 130

    I haven't voted yet......Tough one to call as JuanMa is coming off an amazing KO win and Mares just got sent to dreamland by Gonzalez......

    Mares always seems to have trouble against southpaws (Darchinyan, Moreno & Ponce De Leon) and he's never fought at super featherweight before. They both are willing to fight fire with fire and that could spell trouble for Mares. I'm leaning towards Lopez winning by stoppage.
